JOB TITLE: Delivery Manager, Software Development, AI & Digital Health

LOCATION: Noida / Delhi India (Relocation package available for outstation candidate)


Cancard Inc and Advaa Health are seeking an experienced, engaged, and hands-on, delivery head to with expert level understanding of software development lifecycle and proven background of delivering multiple products from conception to scale after launch. We would prefer candidates with hands on programming experience in Java (Spring Boot), Angular, and MERN stack.

This position offers a unique opportunity for senior engineers who are passionate about solving critical healthcare challenges by developing and delivering innovative products. The role provides direct experience and exposure to customers in the US, Canada, and other global markets.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.     End-to-End Project Ownership:

Oversee the complete software development lifecycle (SDLC) from requirement gathering to deployment and post-launch support, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.

2.     Client & Stakeholder Management:

Act as the primary point of contact for clients and business stakeholders. Translate business needs into technical deliverables, manage expectations, and maintain strong, trust-based relationships.

3.     Technical Leadership:

Provide strategic and tactical guidance to developers and technical leads working in Java, Angular, and MERN. Review architecture, design patterns, and provide hands-on support when needed.

4.     Team Management & Development:

Lead cross-functional agile teams, including backend/frontend developers, QA, UX, DevOps, and business analysts. Facilitate performance reviews, mentoring, skill development, and team engagement.

5.     Agile Project Management:

Champion Agile best practices including Scrum or Kanban methodologies. Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and ensure proper story estimation and prioritization.

6.     Quality Assurance:

Ensure robust testing practices (unit, integration, regression) are in place. Collaborate with QA teams to maintain high code quality and reliable delivery.

7.     Delivery Governance & Reporting:

Track key metrics such as sprint velocity, burn-down charts, code quality, and defect rates. Provide detailed progress reports, timelines, and status updates to internal and external stakeholders.

8.     Risk Identification & Mitigation:

Proactively identify delivery risks, technical constraints, or resource bottlenecks and work with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies.

9.     Resource Planning:

Assess project workload and align resources accordingly. Handle onboarding of new team members and coordinate with HR/Recruitment for staffing needs.

10. DevOps and Release Management:

Work closely with DevOps teams to ensure smooth CI/CD pipeline execution, environment management, version control, and secure release processes.

11. Process Optimization:

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across delivery workflows. Analyze retrospectives to identify process inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.

12. Documentation & Knowledge Management:

Ensure proper documentation of technical specifications, user stories, and deployment guidelines. Promote knowledge sharing and reusability of components.


13. Innovation & Technology Road-mapping:

Stay up to date with industry trends, evaluate new tools and frameworks, and contribute to the technical roadmap and architecture decisions.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required. Master’s degree (MBA, M.Tech, or equivalent) is a strong plus.

·       Strong development background with hands-on coding experience in Java (Spring Boot), Angular, and the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).

·       Deep understanding of architectural patterns (monolith, microservices, serverless) and design principles (SOLID, DRY, KISS, etc.).

·       Proven track record of successfully managing end-to-end delivery of complex software solutions in an Agile or hybrid environment.

·       Strong experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and relevant tools (JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, etc.).

·       PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum certifications (CSM, PSM, SAFe Agilist).

·       Technical certifications in Java, AWS/Azure/GCP, or Full Stack Development (e.g., MongoDB Certified Developer, Oracle Java Programmer, etc.).

·       Excellent leadership, team-building, and conflict-resolution skills.

·       Strong communication abilities, with fluency in explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

·       Experience managing distributed/remote teams across time zones is a plus.

·       Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes) and modern version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).

·       Experience with monitoring, logging, and incident response tools (e.g., ELK Stack, Grafana, Splunk, New Relic) is advantageous.

·       Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

·       Adaptability and resilience in dynamic environments.
