Job Description Position Title, Responsibility Level Sr. Manager – Software Architect Function Digital Transformation Reports to AVP/SAVP Permanent/ Temporary Permanent Span of Control Individual Role Location Noida/Gurugram Basic Function Strong experience in developing distributed systems using microservice architecture in a hybrid cloud environment Must be hands-on and must have working knowledge of event-driven or data-driven architecture Can define and design the software development process, quality and coding standards, provide blueprints of the architecture to the team, help the team to understand technical requirements, help the business to understand technology flexibility and constraints Can work across the technology stack like Java, Node.js, React, Python, Springboot, NGINX/Apache Understanding of UI elements, APIs, Database interfaces etc. Must have dealt with large enterprise systems, information architecture, integration touch points (API integration) etc. Own the technical solution and ensure all technical aspects are implemented as designed Must have the ability to create high-level and low-level design and architecture documents Must assess risks involved in the project and highlight and mitigate them to drive the outcome Identify and analyze information related to existing client systems, visibly show the handoffs/handshakes between the various systems, departments in the organization Ensure best practices are followed while coding or integrations & perform code/ integration review Work closely with stakeholders to identify issues or bottlenecks within operational processes and come up with innovative solutions to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of operations Develops tasks/objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well-structured, maintainable, and easy to understand Ensure compliance with company & IT procedures, policies, and documentation requirements (Feasibility study, BRD, Release Notes) across project phases, guidelines around coding standards, and development best practices. Share and follow best practices, development & deployment methodologies with other team members Essential Functions Good communication and presentation skills Self-motivated, team player, action and results oriented. Process-driven and conceptual thinking Change Management skills Innovative thinker Quick and agile learner Working across cultures with sensitivity, partnering, and driving with a focus on business impact Primary External Interactions Client Teams – especially Technology teams and business SME External Vendors –Product & Services Vendors/Partners, Industry/Business forums Organizational Relationships Reports To : S AVP – Digital CX CoE Supervises : Individual Contributor (Mentor TLs) Skills Technical Skills Have 7-10 yrs of experience in software development and deployment Must have led fairly large product catering to thousands of visitors on the platform, looking after scalability, granularity, and cohesiveness of the product components Must be very good with various programming and scripting languages like Java, Node JS, Groovy, etc. Must possess fairly good knowledge of SOA, and have built an API using Spingboot frameworks, or any other web framework Good to have exposure or working knowledge of one or more BPMN frameworks/platforms like Apache Camel, Comunda, Activiti, etc. Must be hands-on with tools like Git, BitBucket, etc. Must have good knowledge of DevOps and experience with Jenkins deployment pipeline or similar technologies Very good exposure in handling data-sensitive projects in the healthcare domain Have good knowledge of data structures, and must be very good at analytical and problem-solving A good communicator with internal and external stakeholders Process Specific Skills Having worked in a Digital transformation capacity using cloud-specific solutions and implementation Good understanding of conversational AI Trends, platforms, and technologies Must be ready to work and support multiple time zones whenever there is a need Soft Skills (Desired) Independent problem-solving and analytical skills A Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive. Tack-sharp analytical abilities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
