Assistant Manager – Digital - Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC)As the Assistant Manager - Social Listening and Channel Management Specialist, you will contribute to growing EY GDS's global employer brand on digital media through impactful strategies combined with data and insights, robust media plans, build a strong advocate network, and guide in the development of creating compelling content.This role will be pivotal in managing social media channels, driving performance insights, and supporting strategic decision-making through robust analytics and reporting. The ideal candidate will be passionate about digital storytelling, fluent in social media tools, and skilled at translating data into actionable insights. This role also involves working on projects along with global teams and their paid media agency partners to measure social media and campaign impact and translate them into timely reports as required.
Your Key Responsibilities
You will be primarily responsible for measuring the performance of EY GDS content in the online space. This role combines strategic oversight and hands-on execution across analytics, reporting, and channel operations. The individual is responsible for building and maintaining dashboards on social listening tools, tracking key performance indicators and generating segmented reports that determine social media and campaign performanceAs an Analytics and Reporting Specialist, you will –
- Build and maintain dashboards using Hootsuite, and other analytics platforms to track KPIs such as engagement, reach, EEMV (Earned Equivalent Media Value), and content performance.
- Apply filters and tags (subject, country, format, purpose) to generate segmented reports for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with paid media agency partners to ensure timely and accurate reporting of campaign metrics across platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
- Partner with campaign leads, content creators, and regional teams to align reporting with campaign goals, as and when necessary
- Provide training and support on analytics tools and reporting templates, as and when necessary
- Run a robust crisis management process and generate reports for the same, as and when necessary.
As a Technology and Channel Management Specialist, you will –
- Oversee publishing workflows in Hootsuite, ensuring content is tagged, geo-targeted, and scheduled in line with global best practices.
- Manage content libraries, enforce naming conventions, and ensure compliance with copyright and brand guidelines.
- Own the process of website updation, YouTube, etc
- Online reputation management – respond to queries on social channels, maintain a repository of queries and sample responses, manage communications between website query and internal response teams.
To qualify for the role, you must have -
- An established professional with at least 5-7 years of experience in digital marketing and analytics
- Worked on B2B brands, technology organizations managed or worked with creative agencies.
- Expert in social media and have managed paid, owned and earned media experience.
- Proficiency in Hootsuite [or other digital marketing tools like Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Google analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc], good knowledge of MS tools like PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc
- Strong content skills to develop clear and high quality reports
- Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, programmatic, paid ad platforms
- Must have managed large budgeted social media and digital campaigns.
- Native level expertise in English to create and edit creative content for social and digital media, if needed
- Should be able to handle BAU social media tasks should the need arise
Ideally, you will also be –
- Passionate about new digital technologies and communication methodologies
- Beyond traditional digital marketing, you have implemented various marketing technologies, tools and processes that have improved the efficiency of the team.
- Experience in working with global brands and have managed campaigns across geographies.
- Keen to look beyond the obvious creative solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of audience segmentation and targeting platforms.
- Experience in employer branding and recruitment branding campaigns
- Experience in managing websites. Proficiency in CMS, AEM platforms would be a plus, though not compulsory.
- Use marketing data and analytics to build insightful campaigns.
- Previous experience in developing and launching programs for large and matrix organizations.
