Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAS Administrator to join our team and support our enterprise analytics infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in SAS administration, along with strong expertise in Linux and networking. The candidate should be adept at incident and change management, supporting global clients, and ensuring the security and optimal performance of SAS platforms. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive SAS administration and operational support across multiple business units. Maintain and optimize SAS platforms to support business analytics and reporting needs. Manage metadata security, user, group, and project administration. Create and configure database libraries, establish Oracle connections, and interface with databases. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAS platforms and underlying infrastructure. Monitor server logs, performance metrics, and system health to ensure high availability. Support the smooth execution of SAS Business Intelligence Platforms, providing Level 2 support to users and internal teams. Identify and resolve coding issues, web interface problems, and backend server errors. Manage SAS metadata, configuration, installation, and ongoing administration of SAS environments. Conduct daily health checks on SAS platforms and Linux servers. Perform platform maintenance activities and document processes, issues, and resolutions. Handle incident, change, and service requests efficiently via ticketing tools like ServiceNow. Collaborate with global delivery teams to meet client expectations and ensure consistent service delivery. Adhere to infrastructure security principles and best practices to safeguard data and systems. Monitor Linux server activities and manage platform updates and patches. Prepare reports and documentation related to system status, incidents, and operational tasks. Qualifications & Skills: Must Have: At least 4 years of direct experience in SAS administration. Hands-on experience working with Linux operating systems. Good networking knowledge, including routing, IP addressing, and TCP protocols. Knowledge of infrastructure security principles. Experience with incident and change management tools like ServiceNow. Excellent communication skills along with fluency in English. Strong customer management and interpersonal skills. Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and work effectively in a global delivery environment. Preferred Skills: Experience with SAS metadata security and user management. Familiarity with SAS BI tools and scripting. Knowledge of database interfaces such as Oracle. Understanding of enterprise security policies and protocols.
