Responsibilities Principal Oracle Fusion Application Administrator Job Responsibilities: You will have a clear understanding of automation and orchestration principles, Experience in building, managing, and optimizing workflows using Temporal or similar workflow orchestration tools. Middleware Technology Expert - You will be part of L3 Weblogic Administration, to Manage the server life cycle, and monitor application server services and resources, configure applications, deploy applications, modify applications in an active domain and monitor activity within applications. Troubleshoot problems on various layers of the application and infrastructure. Provide internal analysis and support. Enhance and maintain existing environment(s) capacity and capabilities. Technical Experts - You are the ultimate escalation point for complex or critical issues that have not yet been documented as SOPs for Level1 staff. You will usually get called in during major incidents as an SME, when the source of a problem is unclear. You will have the deep understanding of service topology and their dependencies required to troubleshoot issues and define mitigations. Ownership Scope – You will understand the end-to-end configuration, technical dependencies, and overall behavioral characteristics of the production services you own. In partnership with your Service Development and Operations partners, you will have the responsibility to ensure that services are designed and delivered to be mission critical with focus on monitoring, telemetry, security, resiliency, scale, and performance. Service Requirements - You will provide direction and prioritization to service Product Management and Service Development teams to engineer and add premier capabilities to the Oracle SaaS/ERP services. Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana and alerting mechanisms Experience using ticket tracking systems such as JIRA. Strong inter-personal skills - be able to communicate confidently (both written and verbal communication) with peers and management within technical and business teams Strong global team working skills Self-motivated, enthusiastic Ability to adapt to a changing environment Able to work to tight and changing deadlines Able to prioritize in a multi-tasking environment Candidate Qualifications: Mandatory 6+ years of relevant experience in Oracle Weblogic administrator along with Automation skills (Python or Unix Shell Scripting) with B-Tech Computer science or equivalent qualification from a reputed Institute along with good grades. Experience deploying and running large scale online systems built on Cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and/or OpenStack Experience designing and implementing solutions for platform and application layer telemetry, monitoring, scalability, performance and reliability. Proven success in contributing in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, with the ability to establish and nurture relationships between multiple teams and navigate dependencies. Production support experience with Middleware administration, and expertise with Oracle Weblogic Administration on Linux/Unix platform Good Knowledge on Incidents/Request and CHANGE MANAGEMENT process Working in systems and network administration, application security, DevOps and/or Site Reliability Engineering. Hands-on with web protocols and Linux/Unix tools and architecture, from kernel to shell, file systems, and client-server protocols. Maintaining, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed services Building automated tools in Python, Java, GoLang, and/or Ruby. WLST Knowledge to build or enhance monitoring on WLS Servers. Knowledge on any parallel job execution framework tools like Marionette Collective (MCollective) or SALT is added advantage Good working knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager and WebLogic tools(WebLogic Server Administrator Console, WebLogic Scripting Tool, WebLogic ServerApache Ant tasks, WebLogic Server SNMP Agents) is necessary. Should have administration skills on any WebServer like OHS (Oracle HTTP Server) or Apache Experience with monitoring alerting using technologies like Prometheus, Sensu, Nagios, Kafka, Wavefront, BigPanda, DataDog, and/or PagerDuty. Experience with Oracle Linux, RedHat Linux, Ubuntu, Centos, CoreOS, and/or Amazon Linux. Self-driven to keep moving things forward even in the face of ambiguity and imperfect knowledge (resilient to hazards of “analysis paralysis”). Expert in troubleshooting and analyzing HeapDump, Memory, JFR & Stuck Threads Analysis. Familiarity with Java Heap heuristics and garbage collection policies. Strong knowledge of performance concepts such as response time, throughput, system resource utilization. Preferred Functional background in Fusion Human Capital Management/CRM and Strong understanding of ERP product(s) will add vaule. Experience on Java programing and Understanding of structured SQL statements will help. Knowledge on Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), and Oracle service oriented architecture (SOA).
