About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary VP Products to lead our product strategy, development, and management. This pivotal role will be responsible for defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for syndicated loans and private credit market, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of our banking clients and drives significant business growth. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial technology, preferably corporate banking, and a proven track record of building successful B2B SaaS products from conception to launch and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Vision: Define and articulate a compelling product vision and strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives and market opportunities in the loan syndication space.

• Roadmap Development: Own, develop, and maintain the product roadmap, prioritizing features and initiatives based on market analysis, customer feedback, competitive landscape, and business value.

• Market & Customer Insight: Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and gather customer insights (from banks, financial institutions, and industry experts) to identify pain points, emerging trends, and unmet needs in loan syndication.

• Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation, discovery, planning, development, launch, and post-launch iteration.

• Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with engineering, design, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure seamless product development, successful go-to-market strategies, and exceptional customer experience.

• Feature Definition & Documentation: Translate market and customer requirements into detailed product specifications, including comprehensive Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria. Work closely with UX/UI designers and engineers to ensure clarity and feasibility.

• Quality Assurance & Testing Collaboration: Partner with QA and engineering teams to define testing strategies and ensure rigorous testing of new features and enhancements, validating that products meet functional, performance, and usability standards.

• Performance Monitoring: Define and track key product metrics, analyze performance data, and iterate on products to achieve business goals and user satisfaction.

• Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate product strategy, roadmap, and progress to internal stakeholders, executive leadership, and external partners.

• Industry Expertise: Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in FinTech, specifically within syndicated lending and debt capital markets.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role (e.g., Head of Product, VP Product) at a SaaS company.

• Demonstrable experience with financial technology (FinTech) products, ideally within the lending, debt capital markets, or syndicated finance domain.

• Proven track record of successfully defining, launching, and scaling B2B SaaS products.

• Strong understanding of agile development methodologies and product management best practices.

• Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

• Experience leading and growing product teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA 

• Direct experience with loan syndication processes, platforms, or related financial instruments.

• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
