Key Responsibilities

We are on the lookout for a BI Analyst to join our growing team in Gurugram, within a vibrant and fast-paced international setting to support our UK business. You will be a part of the dynamic Finance team that directly influences company strategy and will be working closely with other teams in Aurora to scope data requirements, translate data into business insights, launch dashboards. The ideal candidate is passionate about data, has strong financial acumen, and can work cross-functionally with stakeholders across the business.• Data Consolidation: Integrate and cleanse data from various sources (e.g. CRM, ERP, Excel files, SQL databases, cloud platforms) to form a single version of truth.• Dashboard Development: Design, build, and maintain robust and visually compelling Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to the needs of different business units.• Insight Generation: Translate complex data into clear, concise, and actionable business insights to support strategic decision-making.• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather reporting requirements, understand pain points, and refine outputs.• Data Governance: Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability by adhering to best practices in data modelling and documentation.• Automation & Efficiency: Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting tasks and improve data workflows.• Training & Support: Support end-users in interpreting dashboards and coach them on best practices for self-service analytics.• Process and design documentation

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Required attributes:

• Proven experience as a BI Analyst or similar role with a strong focus on Power BI (Power Query, Python, report design).• Advanced Excel and SQL skills for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.• Experience working with APIs or third-party connectors to pull in external datasets is a plus.• Ability to work with large, complex datasets from multiple systems and transform them into unified reports.• Excellent communication skills – able to explain data and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.• Strong attention to detail, with a problem-solving mindset and proactive approach.• Strong work ethic with a proactive approach, commitment to excellence " or "Self- motivated, with a strong sense of responsibility.

Desirable attributes:

• Experience in SaaS or tech industry finance is a plus.• Exposure to Python or R for data analysis is an advantage.
