Sr Executive Engineer ( Instrumentation)

Qualificaiton: Diploma or BE Instrumentation

Experience : 4 to 8 Yrs

Job Location: Ankalewshar

Job responsibilities :

1. Installation, maintenance, repairs, overhauling, calibration, and testing knowledge of

instruments connected with DCS system - Profibus PA/DP, Conventional

4-20mA; Temp,pressure,level transmitters, Simatic valve positioners, Mass

flowmeters, Proximity switches, Flow switches, Magnetic level switches, Conversant

with Digital bus like Profibus PA, Profibus DP, Modbus,

Various Temperature sensors. PH, conductivity ,ETP instruments and

standalone PLCs, Motion sensors, Proximity switches.

2. DCS Automation faults finding with minimum time.

3. Control valves - 2way, 3 ways with smart positioner installation, calibration and

Maintenance, Communication with DCS hardware and software.

4. Actuated valves with feedback limit switch's connectivity with DCS Digital input,

Digital output ,DCS Hook up, preparation of Junction box schedule.

5. Load weighing system calibration,Programimng and load cell alignment with profibus

DP connectivity

6. Amtech,ABB,Siemens VFD installation maintenance and programming with profibus

DP connectivity with DCS

7. Temperature controller- On/off, PID, Autotune programming , Lab instrument repairing

8. Motor protection device installation, maintenance & programming for various MCC feeders.

9. Perform condition monitoring, maintenance and troubleshooting of DCS Systems and

Profibus communication network.

10. Assist in DCS logic development and Batch recipe development for new

projects/ Expansion projects installation and commissioning with automation logic,

safety interlocks , field wiring of power, signal and profibus cable network.

11. Good knowledge of field instrument hook up, field cabling, termination at location

and commissioning .

12. Assist with instrument maintenance and calibration functions as per IMS system

requirement

13. Plan and execute instrument engineering design for field devices and DCS

14. To ensure Password integrity of all Control systems and system access levels

15. Ensure sufficient stock of spare parts for Control Systems, Field instruments,

workstation and Profibus Network and industrial ethernet.

16. Co-ordinate with user departments for coordination of maintenance/calibration activities

17. Ensure that vendors and contractors working with electrical safety compliance.

18. On-the-job-training of colleagues and trainees for new modifications/improvements

19. Perform routine/non routine work required by his line manager according to company

procedures, including administrative or operational tasks.

20. Perform special or occasional duties, Emergency support to the working plant as required

including assisting mechanical
maintenance team members and special projects

21. Assist DCS siemens engineer to perform configuration and logic modifications, integration for both hardware and software to DCS and PLC control systems. Modifications will include sequential function charts, Continuou

function chart, logic development , interlocks etc.

22. Create and modify P&ID, schematic and layout drawings using AutoCAD

23. Specify cabling and wire sizing for power and control wiring, per IS Code

24. Tuning of process control loops PIDs .

25. Calibrate and maintain mechanical, pneumatic, chemical, electrical and electronic

process controls and measurement instrumentation to approved IMS procedures

26. Safely and efficiently execute daily tasks related to calibration and instrumentation

activities

27. Executing preventative maintenance inspections on all instrumentation equipment

28. Interpret, evaluate, and document calibration test results

29. Provide sketches / redline drawings for changes made to equipment measurement systems

30. Instrument identification and calibration status

31. 5S team participation

32. IMS documentation

33. Electrical maintenance of MCC/PCC,Variable frequency drives of various utility

Equipment’s like Atlas compressors, Bluestar chillers, Thermax thermic fluid heaters,

Thermax boilers, Nuberg nitrogen plants, Cooling towers.

34. Knowledge of HT breakers, LT breakers, DG set controller, Synchronization panel

controllers, Electrical Panel meters-VAW,KWh,PF , PF control panels

35. Knowledge of Excel, word to prepare and maintain various instruments specification,

RFQs,reports, Logics, io list, network layout, cabling ,hardware etc.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
