Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer (UI/UX) to drive high-impact design initiatives and enhance user experiences across our digital products. You will work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Customer Experience, and other stakeholders to create intuitive, engaging, and visually compelling interfaces.

As a key contributor to the design vision and execution, you will mentor designers, refine design systems, and establish best practices. You will play a crucial role in ensuring design consistency, usability, and accessibility while collaborating in an agile, cross-functional environment


Key Responsibilities

Design Execution & Innovation

  • Lead end-to-end design processes, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, and UI implementation.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of scalable design systems, ensuring consistency across products.
  • Research and apply emerging UI/UX trends to enhance product design and user engagement.
  • Leverage data-driven insights (A/B testing, heatmaps, user research) to refine and improve user interactions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Business Stakeholders to align design solutions with product goals.
  • Partner with engineers to ensure smooth design handoff and pixel-perfect implementation.
  • Communicate design rationale effectively, advocating for optimal user experience solutions.

Team Development & Mentorship

  • Mentor and provide constructive feedback to designers, fostering growth and professional development.
  • Participate in design critiques and brainstorming sessions, promoting a collaborative and innovative design culture.

Quality & Accessibility

  • Ensure usability, accessibility (WCAG 2.1), and responsive design best practices are implemented across all products.
  • Conduct and analyze user research, usability tests, and A/B experiments to inform design decisions.

Agile Design Process

  • Work within Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments, ensuring design tasks are well-defined and aligned with sprint objectives.
  • Participate in cross-functional workshops and user feedback sessions to iterate and refine designs continuously.


Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Visual Communication, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio demonstrating leadership in design strategy and user-centric solutions.

Technical Expertise

  • Expert proficiency in Figma and other industry-standard design tools.
  • Strong knowledge of design systems, usability testing, and user research methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of interaction design principles and accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1).
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for collaboration with developers.

Soft Skills & Communication

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven experience collaborating with engineers, product managers, and designers in fast-paced environments.

Bonus Points

  • Experience working in Agile or Lean UX workflows.
  • Proficiency in motion design and micro-interactions.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered design tools and automation in UX workflows.
  • Contributions to open-source design projects, UX research, or speaking engagements.


Job Location & Schedule

  • This job is an onsite job at Logile’s Bhubaneswar Office
  • Some overlap with U.S. or other international time zones may be required to support our global customers as needed.
