Description of Responsibilities and Required Experience

You’ll be the in‑house specialist who designs, builds and supports end‑to‑end business solutions across Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Dataverse

Core Area/Responsibilities/Must‑Have Experience/Nice to have

Power Apps UI Development

Translate business needs into wireframes and functional specs.

Build secure, responsive canvas & model‑driven apps with intuitive UX.

Embed custom components or HTML/CSS where low‑code controls fall short.

End‑to‑end delivery of

Proficiency in low‑code formulas plus basic HTML/CSS.

Ability to design for mobile as well as desktop form‑factors.

PCF component development.

Familiarity with Figma or similar UI‑mock‑up tools.

Dataverse & Data Modelling

Design clean, scalable entity models—including look‑ups, many‑to‑many relationships and role‑based security

Manage environments, solution layers and ALM pipelines

Hands‑on building relational models in Dataverse.

Experience enforcing data‑loss prevention (DLP) policies and security roles.

Exposure to the CoE Starter Kit and automated testing strategies.

Power Automate (Process Automation)

Create, test and deploy flows for approvals, notifications and third‑party integrations.

Implement error handling and performance monitoring.

Track record building flows that integrate M365 services and REST APIs.

Understanding of triggers, conditions and concurrency control.

Experience with Logic Apps or Azure Functions for more advanced orchestration.

Power BI & DAX (Analytics)

Develop interactive dashboards and reports that surface actionable KPIs.

Optimise data models for performance and governance.

Strong DAX skills (time intelligence, calculated tables, dynamic security).

Delivered at least

Row‑level security design; familiarity with composite models.

Troubleshooting, Support & Governance

Diagnose and resolve performance or permission issues across the stack.

Document standards, run user training and mentor citizen‑developers.

Demonstrable root‑cause analysis skills in both development and production environments.

Experience formalising platform governance frameworks in an SME or mid‑market setting.

(4) PowerBI (list PowerBI dashboards you have built out + how you went about design + use of DAX)  

(5) Troubleshooting, Support & Governance (data model refresh error troubleshooting, access levels and row level security/ permissions - examples of how you troubleshoot + manage governance)
