Algonomy is looking for a highly driven, entrepreneurial, and seasoned Operations leader with 15+ years in the industry specialization in cloud engineering and operations within the SaaS based product space.S/he should posses deep understanding of technology, security and operational practices on public/private clouds that have led to building and running transformative SaaS operational practices that drive high degrees of efficiency and profitably.

Primary responsibilities

• Global Leader of Operations Engineering cross Alogonmy’s hybrid Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure and private Data Centers)
• Primary owner for the availability, scale and security of all of Algonomys hosted products
• Develop reliable metrics for hardware and software while ensuring strategic capacity planning for the infrastructure running on the cloud and private Data Centers
• Streamline monitoring strategy for the infrastructure and applications hosted on it.
• Drive efficiencies through automation by creating an automation pipeline and getting it delivered

through the team.

• Active cloud evangelist engaging customers with cloud migration and cloud first initiatives.
• Create and maintain strategic technical partnership with AWS, Data center hosting partners nurturing these partnerships commercially and across go to market and technical initiatives.
• Drive Security across all of algonomys cloud infrastructure through adoption of tools, technologies and best practices.
• Ensuring the operations team has the best talent to support its service.
• Evaluate new technologies to drive better service and efficiency.
• Manage Customer Success, core engineering and professional services as a customer for their

various operational needs.

• Active participant in pre-sales, security, customer acquisition efforts as SME and in product architectural councils and design reviews.
• Create and maintain and continuously improve policies and processes on Cloud based deployments, standard operating processes and spend tracking.

Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or an equivalent in a related field.
• 15+ years of experience working with data centers, with at least 7 years of experience in an AWS/Azure environment.
• Expertise in deployment designs and execution of world-Class products and technologies across On Prem, Cloud and Hybrid environments.
• Must have extensive experience in managing fault tolerant, highly available, low latency applications
• Must have experience rolling out CI/CD, automated deployment and monitoring.
• Must have experience managing deployments in the private data centers or managed data centers
• S/He should have deep technical skills and knowledge about Cloud, network design and security.
• Experience working with data and analytics products.
• Experience of managing and collaborating technology vendors such as public clouds, collos or stage 4 data centers.
• A technologist with the communication, consultative, and leadership skills to help guide major product initiatives
• Should have led and managed globally distributed operations teams.
• Strong business and commercial acumen; align technology with business needs.
• Experience of managing P&L.
• Ability to collaborate, mobilize, build, and motivate teams; a strong sense of personal initiative, and demonstrated capabilities of being a thought leader.
• Stay abreast of and share industry/technology trends relevant to the operational engineering discipline.
• Proven team builder with a solid track record in building and growing successful teams.
• Global leadership experience with working in an international business environment and managed teams

of 50+ FTEs with teams across multiple geographies.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and solutions.
• Display passion, and the skill of being disruptive without being disagreeable.
