Role Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain scalable platform solutions. Implement automated workflows across development and operations teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance. Monitor and troubleshoot platform-related issues to ensure high availability. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment processes. Integrate cloud services with existing infrastructure. Utilize containerization tools to facilitate application deployment. Implement security best practices in platform engineering. Conduct regular system audits and capacity planning. Maintain documentation for system architecture and processes. Support the migration of legacy systems to modern platforms. Conduct performance tuning and optimization on various systems. Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with industry trends. Assist in training team members on new technologies and tools. Report on project status and issues to stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Experience in platform engineering or similar roles. Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes. Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages. In-depth knowledge of networking and security protocols. Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation. Ability to work in an Agile environment. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools such as ELK stack or Prometheus. Prior experience with microservices architecture. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Willingness to participate in on-call rotations as needed. Certification in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) is a plus.
