Job Description

The Manager – Sales Operations & Support provides support to the sales team in seamless sales operations, enables sales team productivity, manages dealer and customer support, and drives data-driven decision-making through effective reporting, tools, and coordination. The role acts as a central point of control between field sales, dealers, manufacturing, and other internal functions to support sales growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Operations & Coordination

  • Oversee end-to-end sales operations, including order processing, dealer communications, and sales admin support.
  • Ensure timely order booking, tracking, and coordination with production and logistics teams.
  • Maintain pricing approvals, commercial terms, and contract support documentation.

2. Sales Reporting & Analysis

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, weekly/monthly MIS, sales trend reports, pipeline visibility, and dealer performance analytics.
  • Provide insights to regional and national sales teams on targets, performance gaps, and opportunities.
  • Support demand forecasting and annual planning activities.

3. Dealer Support & Documentation

  • Act as the primary interface for dealer onboarding, documentation, training coordination, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure consistent communication of schemes, pricing updates, technical clarifications, and product information.

4. Customer Communication & Relationship Management

  • Handle customer inquiries, pricing requests, and order status updates.
  • Maintain customer records, contracts, and service agreements.
  • Support sales representatives in follow-ups and client engagement activities.

5. CRM / ERP / Tools Management

  • Administer and improve the usage of CRM/ERP tools for lead management, order processing, and customer interactions.
  • Train and support field sales in using technology effectively.

6. Sales Enablement & Efficiency

  • Streamline sales processes and identify opportunities to automate and reduce manual efforts.
  • Develop templates, presentations, and other enablement materials for sales teams.

7. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Liaise with production, logistics and supply chain, finance, marketing, and service teams to ensure a smooth customer and dealer experience.
  • Support the execution of sales campaigns, roadshows, and exhibitions.

8. Compliance & Governance

  • Maintain sales documentation, agreements, and compliance records.
  • Ensure adherence to pricing guidelines, discount structures, credit policies, and company compliance protocols.

Additional information for external hiring

Location: Bengaluru

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in sales coordination, order management, or sales support.

· High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, CRM/ERP tools (SAP, Zoho, Salesforce, etc.)

· Analytical and detail-oriented with strong MIS/reporting capabilities

· Excellent communication and coordination skills

· Strong process mindset with ability to handle ambiguity

· Ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, or dealer/distribution sales support.
  • Knowledge of Tally, SAP, or ERP sales modules.
  • Familiarity with sales data analysis and reporting tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹444,580.28 - ₹600,000.00 per year
