Position Overview:

Mobile Application Support Specialist

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, analyze trends, recommend improvements, and contribute to the overall enhancement of our mobile technology platform.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support iOS and iPadOS mobile applications.
  • Monitor and manage incident queues via ticketing tools (such as ServiceNow), ensuring prioritization as per severity (P1–P4).
  • Resolve bugs and provide ongoing support for both mobile apps and Java-based backend APIs.
  • Respond promptly to reported incidents (via ServiceNow or email) related to mobile apps and backend services, ensuring swift resolution of major incidents (P1/P2).
  • Diagnose and troubleshooting user-reported issues using appropriate tools and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and product managers to resolve incidents efficiently.
  • Analyze recurring incidents and provide recommendations to mitigate future issues.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of incident resolution in ServiceNow for audit and reference.
  • Educate and guide end-users on application functionalities, best practices, and features.
  • Assist with testing new features or releases to ensure quality and functionality.
  • Stay informed on evolving mobile application technologies, tools, and industry best practices.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in IT application development and support, specifically for mobile applications, APIs, or integrations.
  • Strong understanding of iOS and iPadOS mobile app development, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Experience in backend API development using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot, with mobile app integration exposure.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI) and techniques.
  • Proficient in using incident management tools (preferably ServiceNow) and monitoring platforms like Splunk, Dynatrace.
  • Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database management systems (SQL, Sybase).
  • Working knowledge of Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools, especially Microsoft Intune.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to convey technical information to non-technical users effectively.
  • Organized, detail-focused, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in logistics, transportation, or yard management domains.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • ITIL certification (preferred but not mandatory).
