Job Description

ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Java for Power Platform applications.Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to identify and resolve issues.Maintain and update existing test scripts to reflect changes in the application.Analyze test results, diagnose issues, and provide detailed reports to development teams.Participate in code reviews to maintain the quality and integrity of the test codebase.Continuously research and recommend tools and frameworks to enhance the automation process.Develop strategies for testing complex features and functionality.Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.Document test procedures and results comprehensively.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in Selenium automation testing and Java programming.Strong understanding of Power Platform applications and their functionalities.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Effective communication and organizational skills.Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).Knowledge of RESTful APIs and SQL.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Power Platform development and customization.The resources will work on the 2 types of automations – Canvas based applications webbase , required to test front ends and workflows. 2) B2B ( BAUCAL) integration / api testing. Must have – Selenium + Java , including managing automation code management on GIT , and using tools like Jira and Confluence. AZD based pipelines for code deployments etc. This SFIA level 4 + requirement. Candidate is should be hands on and self starter , with ability to mentor team mates and drive things.
