We are looking for an experienced and dynamic

HR Associate

who will play a pivotal role in supporting the HR department in its core functions. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of end-to-end recruitment and generalist HR responsibilities. You will be instrumental in driving our people strategy, from talent acquisition to engagement and compliance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding:
  • Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, screening, shortlisting, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates through job portals, networking, and referrals.
  • Facilitate a smooth onboarding process, ensuring all new hires have the tools and resources they need to succeed from day one.
  • Stakeholder Coordination:
  • Partner with department heads and hiring managers to understand staffing requirements and role specifications.
  • Align recruitment strategies with department growth plans and organizational needs.
  • HR Administration and Database Management:
  • Maintain up-to-date employee records and ensure accurate data entry in HRMS/HR databases.
  • Oversee documentation related to hiring, confirmation, promotion, transfer, and exit.
  • Employee Engagement & Internal Communication:
  • Plan and execute employee engagement activities, welfare initiatives, and cultural programs.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal communications and grievance redressal.
  • Attendance, Leave & Payroll Coordination:
  • Work with accounts and payroll teams to ensure accurate attendance tracking, leave management, and payroll processing.
  • Address employee queries related to pay, leaves, and benefits promptly.
  • Compliance & Policy Implementation:
  • Ensure HR processes are compliant with labor laws and internal policies.
  • Assist in audits and maintaining statutory documentation and filings.
  • Performance Management & Training:
  • Support periodic performance appraisals by coordinating review cycles and documentation.
  • Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating learning and development initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR generalist roles or recruitment.
  • Strong command over HR practices, labor laws, and employment regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word) and HR management tools/systems.
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities; must be detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
  • Experience in the design, retail, or luxury industry will be considered an added advantage.
