About The Role We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Senior DevOps Engineer ServiceNow to join our team. In this fully remote role, you will be instrumental in enabling cutting-edge automation, continuous integration, and seamless deployment within our ServiceNow ecosystem. This position demands a robust technical background in CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud platforms, and API integrations. Key Responsibilities As a Senior DevOps Engineer ServiceNow, your core responsibilities will include : CI/CD Pipeline Development & Management Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines specifically tailored for ServiceNow applications and platform enhancements. Automate the build, test, and deployment processes to ensure rapid, consistent, and error-free delivery of ServiceNow solutions. Champion best practices for continuous integration and continuous delivery within the ServiceNow development lifecycle. Automation & Infrastructure As Code (IaC) Drive automation initiatives for ServiceNow deployments and configurations using leading Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible. Develop and manage automated workflows for provisioning, configuring, and updating ServiceNow instances and related infrastructure. ServiceNow Platform Management Manage and optimize ServiceNow instances, focusing on performance tuning, system upgrades, and configuration management. Ensure the health, stability, and scalability of the ServiceNow platform through proactive monitoring and maintenance. API Integrations & End-to-End Automation Integrate ServiceNow APIs with external tools, systems, and platforms to enable comprehensive end-to-end automation across the enterprise. Develop custom integrations to bridge gaps and create seamless data flows between ServiceNow and other critical business applications. Cloud Infrastructure Optimization Contribute to the optimization, scaling, and security configurations of our cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, in alignment with ServiceNow operations. Ensure cloud resources supporting ServiceNow are efficiently utilized and securely managed. Security & Compliance Implement foundational security measures and access controls across ServiceNow instances and integrated systems. Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry best practices. Technical Skills Required ServiceNow Scripting & Configuration : JavaScript, Glide API Flow Designer, UI Policies Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts CI/CD Tools (Hands-on With Any One) Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps Cloud Platforms (Hands-on With Any One) AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Infrastructure As Code (IaC) Terraform, Ansible CloudFormation (if applicable to cloud platform) Containers & Orchestration (Preferred But Not Mandatory) Docker, Kubernetes, Helm API Integrations RESTful APIs, SOAP Webhooks, OAuth Monitoring Tools (Any Exposure Is Beneficial) Splunk, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Prometheus, Grafana Security & Networking Basics VPNs, Firewalls, Access Control Mechanisms Authentication (SSO, OAuth), Encryption Soft Skills Strong Troubleshooting and Debugging Abilities : A keen eye for detail and exceptional problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. Clear and Effective Communication Skills : Ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to Work Collaboratively in Agile Environments : Experience and comfort working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
