Organisation Name : Ganesh Green Bharat Limited Job Title: Assistant IT Network Manager Department: Information Technology Location: Nandasan Plant & Head Office, Ahmedabad Reporting To: Head of Operations Salary Range 30k – 45k Per month Experience – Minimum 3 years with a mid size company Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant IT Network Manager to lead the planning, implementation, and management of our IT infrastructure across our manufacturing units and head office. This role is critical to ensuring secure, stable, and high-performance connectivity while aligning with business continuity and cybersecurity requirements. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in network and server administration, strong documentation and compliance practices, and a collaborative mindset to support evolving manufacturing technologies and ERP systems. Key Responsibilities 1. Network & Infrastructure Management Design, configure, maintain, and monitor LAN/WAN networks across two locations. Administer and optimize networking devices including switches, routers, firewalls (e.g., pfSense, FortiGate), and wireless access points. Ensure secure connectivity between sites using VPN or leased lines. Maintain and document structured cabling and network architecture. Enforce access control and data usage policies in coordination with HR/Admin as per company IT policy. 2. System & Server Administration Manage local and cloud-hosted environments (e.g., ERP, NAS, Email Servers, CCTV, File Servers). Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN services. Define and execute backup and disaster recovery strategies. 3. Cybersecurity & Access Control Implement security protocols, firewalls, endpoint protection, and patch management. Manage user access policies and conduct regular security audits. Perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate penetration testing where necessary. 4. Technical Support & Troubleshooting Provide Level 1–2 support for networking, system issues, hardware, software, and peripheral devices. Maintain IT asset inventory and help desk documentation. Liaise with third-party vendors for hardware/software support, licensing, and warranties. 5. IT Compliance & Documentation Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO/IEC 27001. Maintain detailed documentation including network diagrams, SOPs, configuration logs, and audit records. Prepare IT performance reports and system uptime analytics. 6. ERP & Manufacturing IT Integration (Preferred but optional) Coordinate with ERP vendors to maintain performance, data security, and user access. Support the integration of systems such as SCADA, PLCs, CNCs, and Access Control into the network infrastructure. Collaborate in IIoT and smart factory initiatives. Credentials & System Management The Assistant IT Network Manager will also be responsible for the secure management of credentials and digital assets, including but not limited to: Email and Office365 admin credentials for all company domains. ERP (e.g., Odoo), HRMS (Old/New), Tally login and access control. System-wide user ID and password management. HO & Plant IT asset mapping with employee-wise details. Maintenance of all vendor support credentials, license keys, static/dynamic IPs, payment schedules, agreements, and associated documentation. Oversight of printing solutions, CCTV systems, biometric systems, and software license distribution. Required Skills & Qualifications Between 3-5 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure and network administration. Proven experience with firewalls (e.g., pfSense, FortiGate, Sophos), managed switches, VPNs. Knowledge of server management (Windows/Linux), AD, virtual environments (VMware/Proxmox), and backup tools. Familiarity with ERP systems (Odoo, SAP, or Oracle preferred). Strong troubleshooting, communication, and project management capabilities. Preferred Certifications Networking & Security: CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+/Security+ Microsoft/Server: MCSA, MCSE Firewall/Security: Fortinet NSE, pfSense Certification Programming: Basic understanding of Python or similar scripting language Note: Routine hardware maintenance, software installations, and basic troubleshooting may be performed by internal technicians or outsourced vendors under the supervision of the IT department.
