About the Role

ROLE: Data Scientists/ Leads/ Architects

Assist in developing AI and machine learning models using Microsoft Azure AI tools such as Azure Machine Learning Cognitive Services and OpenAI integration

Support data collection cleaning and preprocessing efforts for structured unstructured and geospatial datasets including data from Esri platforms

Collaborate with software engineers data scientists GIS analysts and business stakeholders to embed AI functionality into modern mobile and web applications

Build deploy and monitor AI solutions using Azure ensuring scalability and performance

Create clear and maintainable technical documentation including model specifications integration workflows and user guidance

Participate in product planning and agile development meetings contributing AIML and GIS insights to the team

Stay uptodate on the latest Microsoft AI advancements including Responsible AI practices and Azure OpenAI capabilities

Champion the adoption of AI and GIS technologies across the organization through demos technical workshops and stakeholder presentations

Required Skills

Proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning libraries such as scikitlearn TensorFlow or PyTorch

Handson experience using Microsoft Azure tools for AIML model training deployment and monitoring

Familiarity with Esris ArcGIS platform and its Pythonbased tools eg ArcPy ArcGIS API for Python

Understanding of spatial data GIS workflows and data visualization using maps

Strong problemsolving skills attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly with technical and nontechnical audiences

Ability to thrive in crossfunctional teams and contribute to collaborative solution design

Preferred Skills

Experience with Azure Machine Learning Cognitive Services eg Azure Language Vision or Speech APIs and Azure OpenAI

Familiarity with Power Platform Power BI Power Automate and its integration with AI models

Knowledge of cloudnative architectures and DevOps practices using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions

Experience working with Esri products such as ArcGIS Online ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise

Exposure to containerization Docker REST APIs and deploying ML models into production environments

Interest in NLP computer vision or predictive analytics in a GIS context

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Data Science Artificial Intelligence Geographic Information Systems or a related field Masters degree is a plus

Internship or project experience applying AIML techniques using Microsoft tools and cloud services

Strong motivation to stay current with evolving Azure AI and GIS technologies

Excellent interpersonal organizational and written communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver highquality work in a fastpaced agile development environment
