What you'll do...
- What You’ll Do
- Build, publish, and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI
- Manage reports and workspaces in Power BI Service, including setup and deployment of Power BI Apps
- Create data model in Power BI using star/snowflake schema
- Ensure appropriate data refresh schedules, access controls, and versioning in the Power BI workspace
- Use Python to automate routine data processing and reporting tasks
- Perform data wrangling and transformation in Dataiku, integrating with GCP (especially Big Query)
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and translate business needs into actionable reports
- Ensure dashboards are scalable, accurate, and well-documented
- Follow BI best practices around design principles, governance, and performance optimization
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 6-7 years of experience in analytics or business intelligence roles
- Expert-level skills in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modelling)
- Experience managing Power BI Service environments and Power BI Apps
- Strong proficiency in Python, specifically for automating data workflows and reporting tasks
- Hands-on experience with Dataiku or similar data prep tools
- Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially Big Query
- Proficient in SQL and working with large, complex datasets
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Strong understanding of data governance, quality, and best practices in BI.
- Strong track record of working as an IC and experience in end-to-end project implementation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) is a plus.
- Certification in Power BI or GCP is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform is advantageous.
