Senior BI Analyst

with strong experience in the

retail or FMCG domain

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing sales, inventory, pricing, and customer behavior data to deliver insights that drive strategic and operational decisions across marketing, merchandising, e-commerce, and operations.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Insights & Data Analysis Analyze key business metrics such as sales, pricing, inventory levels, and customer behavior to generate actionable insights. Partner with cross-functional teams to support demand forecasting, pricing optimization, and assortment planning.
  • Campaign & Marketing Analytics Conduct Post Campaign Analysis (PCA) to assess campaign effectiveness and understand customer response. Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to investigate performance anomalies and identify improvement opportunities. Support end-to-end campaign operations, from audience selection and data troubleshooting to performance evaluation.
  • Testing & Validation Design and execute A/B tests and other statistical methods to validate hypotheses and improve decision-making. Measure campaign KPIs such as open rates, click-through rates (CTR), conversions, ROI, and overall uplift.
  • Advanced Reporting & Visualization Leverage tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Excel, and SQL to build dashboards and conduct deep-dive analysis of customer segments, product trends, and other key performance indicators.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with marketing, CRM, product, and analytics teams to deliver business-critical insights and analytics support. Communicate findings clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in data analytics or BI, preferably in a retail, FMCG, or consumer business environment
  • Strong command of SQL, Excel, and Power BI for data extraction, transformation, and visualization
  • Experience with campaign analytics, CRM data, and marketing effectiveness measurement
  • Hands-on expertise in A/B testing, root cause analysis, and segmentation
  • Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Preferred Experience:

  • Background in marketing analytics, e-commerce analytics, or CRM performance measurement
  • Familiarity with customer lifecycle metrics, behavioral cohorts, and retention strategies
