Do you excel at turning complex regulations into structured, actionable compliance programs? We are looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Regulatory Compliance Analyst to join our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) function. This is a high-impact role that will drive the creation of an enterprise-wide compliance framework, covering India’s dynamic and evolving regulatory environment across sectors. 🔧 Key Responsibilities: 📚 Regulatory Repository & Obligation Register Development of a Comprehensive Regulatory Repository Conduct a detailed review of all applicable legislative instruments impacting CLIENT operations, including but not limited to: Central and State Laws : Acts, Rules, Executive Regulations, Circulars. Regulations issued by Indian Regulatory Bodies , including: RBI : Master Circulars, Guidelines on KYC, Outsourcing, Digital Lending, etc. SEBI : LODR Regulations, Insider Trading Regulations, Investment Advisor Rules. IRDAI : Framework for Insurance Compliance, Cybersecurity Guidelines, Product Regulations. MCA : Companies Act, CSR Rules, Audit Trail and Financial Reporting requirements. Other Sectoral Regulators : TRAI, FSSAI, DGFT, PFRDA, and local authorities. Internal circulars or committee directives issued by CLIENT management. Centralized Compliance Documentation Build and maintain a structured, searchable regulatory repository with: Version-controlled documentation. Tagging of applicable laws, rules, regulations, and amendments. Cross-referencing to applicable departments, risk categories, and business functions. Classification & Indexing Categorize obligations based on: Legal Authority (e.g., RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, MCA). Nature of Enactment (original, amendment, repeal, clarification). Regulation Type (Banking, Capital Markets, Insurance, Corporate Law, Taxation, etc.). Jurisdiction (Central, State, International). Business Function (Finance, HR, IT, Operations, Legal). Risk Impact and Department Ownership . ✅ Obligation Register Development Extract specific compliance obligations from regulatory texts. Maintain an Obligation Register that: Links each obligation to the originating statute or regulatory document. Captures the exact article/section reference. Identifies responsible internal departments or functions. Maps timelines, frequency (e.g., annual, quarterly), and reporting obligations. 📊 Compliance Risk Assessment Identify and assess compliance risks using a structured methodology: Evaluate likelihood, impact, and control effectiveness. Document inherent and residual risks along with control plans. Use this assessment to drive a risk-based compliance plan for high-risk areas. 📈 Compliance Monitoring Program Establish a live compliance monitoring framework with: KPIs, dashboards, audit schedules, and alerts. Periodic self-assessments and control testing. Automated compliance tracking and reporting. Design inspection procedures to audit adherence to obligations and internal policies. 🎯 What You Bring: Strong knowledge of Indian regulatory frameworks (RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, MCA, etc.). Proven experience in compliance, regulatory risk, or legal analysis roles. Excellent legal research, documentation, and indexing skills. Familiarity with Obligation Registers, risk assessments, and compliance reporting tools. Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
