Job Title: PLM Teamcenter Administrator / EngineerDepartment: IT / Engineering Systems Location: [Insert Location] Job Type: Full-time Reports To: PLM Lead / IT Manager / Engineering Manager Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled PLM Teamcenter Administrator/Engineer with hands-on experience in Teamcenter Unified Architecture (TcUA) and NX CAD integration. The role involves administration, configuration, support, troubleshooting, and upgrades of the PLM environment. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, continuous process improvements, and excellent problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities:Teamcenter Administration and Support Administer, configure, and maintain Teamcenter (TcUA) environments (2-tier & 4-tier). Support multisite environments, ensuring high availability and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve PLM-related issues and provide user support. PLM Configuration & Customization Perform BMIDE deployments and updates. Manage Teamcenter components like Access Manager, Query Builder, Report Generation, Workflow creation, and Structure Manager. Handle XML import/export configurations and manage complex security models. CAD & NX Integration Support and troubleshoot NX CAD integration with Teamcenter. Understand and manage BOM (Bill of Materials) structures. Manage end-to-end upgrade projects for Teamcenter and NX. Server and Database Administration Administer servers on UNIX, Windows Server, AIX, and RHEL platforms. Handle Oracle database management related to PLM systems. Development & Customization Perform ITK, RAC Customization and scripting for automation. Exposure to programming languages like C, C++ for customization tasks. Process Improvement & Implementation Identify and implement functionality and process improvements. Lead testing, validation, and deployment of new modules, patches, and upgrades. PLM Migration & Upgrades Plan and execute PLM migrations, including version upgrades and data migrations. Training & Documentation Prepare technical documentation and user guides. Provide training and support to users and stakeholders on PLM systems. Qualifications: Education :B.E. / B.Tech (Any stream) or MCA PLM Certification is an added advantage. Experience:4–6 years of hands-on experience in Teamcenter Unified Architecture (TcUA) and NX integration. Skills & Competencies: Technical Skills: Expertise in Teamcenter Admin, BMIDE, Access Manager, Multisite Configuration, and Workflow creation. Solid understanding of NX CAD tools and BOM management. Strong experience with server administration (UNIX, Windows Server, AIX, RHEL). Good knowledge of Oracle Database administration. Proficient in ITK, RAC Customization, and programming in C/C++. Knowledge of PLM Visualization, JT, Query Builder, and reporting tools. Hands-on experience in PLM migration and version upgrades. Soft Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent analytical and debugging skills. Strong project management and problem-solving abilities. Capable of providing technical training and knowledge sharing. Preferred Domain: Automotive Domain Experience (OEM or Service) with knowledge of the design and development cycle.
