About The Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Teamcenter Engineer (DevOps) to join our team in Pune. In this role, you will be crucial in managing, optimizing, and automating our Teamcenter environments. You'll leverage your deep understanding of Teamcenter administration combined with strong DevOps practices to ensure seamless installations, upgrades, and overall system performance. Key Responsibilities
Teamcenter Administration & Upgrades :
- Lead and execute Teamcenter installations, upgrades, and maintenance activities, primarily utilizing the Deployment Center.
- Manage and administer Teamcenter environments, ensuring optimal performance, stability, and security.
- Perform regular health checks, performance tuning, and capacity planning for Teamcenter systems.
Linux/Unix System Management
- Manage and troubleshoot Linux/Unix systems, including shell scripting for automation of routine tasks and system administration.
- Monitor system resources, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to ensure high availability.
CI/CD & Automation
- Develop, maintain, and enhance internal CI/CD tools primarily using Python.
- Integrate Teamcenter operations into automated pipelines to streamline deployment and testing processes.
- Work with DevOps tools such as Git for version control, Jenkins for continuous integration, JFrog Artifactory for artifact management, and Docker for containerization.
Teamcenter Module Expertise
- Possess strong knowledge and experience with various Teamcenter modules, including Dispatcher (for data translation), BMIDE (Business Modeler IDE for data model configuration), and Active Workspace (for user experience & Performance :
- Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex system issues quickly and effectively.
- Analyze system logs, performance metrics, and infrastructure components to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of Teamcenter solutions.
- Document configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps to maintain knowledge base.
What You Bring
Required Skills :
- Experience : Strong 5+ years of experience with Teamcenter installation, administration, and upgrades using Deployment Center.
- Operating Systems : Proficiency in Linux/Unix systems, including shell scripting and system administration.
- Programming : Proficiency in Python to maintain and manage internal CI/CD tools.
- DevOps Tools : Hands-on experience with core DevOps tools : Git, Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, and Docker.
- Teamcenter Modules : Solid knowledge of Teamcenter modules like Dispatcher, BMIDE, and Active Workspace.
- Problem-Solving : Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze logs and system performance effectively.
