Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, visionary, and results-oriented Integrated Marketing Director to lead our entire marketing function. This is a critical leadership role responsible for defining, developing, and executing the overarching global marketing strategy across all channels (digital, PR, and communications) to drive brand awareness, thought leadership, lead generation, and ultimately, revenue growth worldwide. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a proven track record of building and managing high-performing global marketing teams, excelling in the B2B tech sector, preferably within market research, analytics, or a related information services industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Global Integrated Marketing Strategy & Leadership:
- Define and articulate the global integrated marketing vision and strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives and growth targets.
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous optimization of comprehensive global marketing plans across all geographies (Asia, Europe, Americas).
- Drive market penetration and brand dominance in key tech segments by positioning Counterpoint Research as the undisputed leader in actionable insights.
- Establish clear KPIs and metrics for all marketing activities, ensuring robust tracking, reporting, and ROI analysis.
- Plan and oversee the execution of global PR campaigns, including the development of launch roadmaps and strategics to expand coverage in both global and local medias.
2. Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead a high-performing global marketing team by developing existing resources as well as recruiting key team members. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across product development, digital marketing, PR, and marketing communications functions.
- Guide the broader organization on how to maximize product development focused on creating the highest performance in a rapidly changing environment.
- Optimize team structure and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and impact across global initiatives.
3. Brand & Thought Leadership:
- Elevate and safeguard Counterpoint Research’s global brand identity and reputation, ensuring consistent messaging and brand guidelines are adhered to across all touchpoints.
- Drive thought leadership initiatives that highlight our proprietary research, unique insights, and analyst expertise to key stakeholders, media, and the wider tech community.
- Oversee high-impact content strategy, ensuring the creation of compelling and authoritative materials that resonate with target audiences globally.
- Develop new website strategies, including user-journey design and conversion goal planning.
4. Integrated Marketing Execution Oversight:
- Strategic oversight of all digital marketing channels: SEO, SEM, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), social media, email marketing, web strategy, and marketing automation to maximize lead generation and pipeline acceleration.
- Strategic oversight of global public relations and media relations: Develop and nurture relationships with top-tier global media and industry analysts. Drive proactive and reactive PR strategies, including crisis communications.
- Drive the successful planning and execution of key global marketing campaigns and initiatives from concept to post-analysis.
- Conduct channel-level lead generation analysis and optimize website design and content accordingly to improve conversion.
- Define and implemented a structured process for passing qualified leads to the Sales team, outlining tools and cost estimates involved.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate closely with the leadership team, Sales team, and Research team to align marketing efforts with sales goals, product development, and overall company strategy.
- Present marketing strategies, performance, and insights to executive leadership and key stakeholders regularly.
- Manage and optimize global marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and strong ROI.
- Coordinate regional events and face-to-face activities to strengthen client relationships and increase retention.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- 7+ years of experience in a marketing role.
- Deep expertise across the full marketing mix: digital marketing (SEO, SEM, GEO, social, web), PR & media relations, content strategy, and marketing communications.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English, capable of influencing at the executive level.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex, and evolving global environment, demonstrating adaptability and resilience.
- Based in Korea (Seoul) or India (Mumbai), with a strong understanding of tech markets and cultural nuances of its base location.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a global marketing role.
- Extensive experience in the B2B technology sector, with a strong preference for candidates from market research, analytics, consulting, or information services companies.
- Familiar with market/industry research
Job Details:
- This is a full-time position.
- We are looking to fill this position in either Mumbai or Seoul. Should the role be filled in either of these two cities, the job advertisement will be taken down.
- Relocation or working visa not supported. You must be legally authorized to work either in Korea or India.
