Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans, set ambitious targets, and analyze market trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Team Leadership & Development:

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team. Provide coaching, training, and motivation to cultivate a strong team culture and drive results.
  • Sales Operations Management:

  • Oversee the end-to-end sales cycle—from lead generation to deal closure—ensuring smooth and efficient execution of sales processes.
  • Sales Analysis & Reporting:

  • Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze key data, and prepare regular reports and insights for senior leadership to support decision-making.
  • Client Relationship Management:

  • Establish, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to support long-term business growth.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Coordinate closely with marketing, product development, and other departments to align sales efforts with broader company objectives.
  • Brand Representation:

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking platforms to enhance visibility and establish thought leadership.
  • Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to sales policies, contractual obligations, and applicable legal and regulatory standards.

Key Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of import-export procedures, documentation, and regulatory compliance in the

    minerals sector

    .
  • Proven ability to independently handle communication with suppliers, logistics partners and customers.
  • Strong understanding of

    FOB/CIF terms

    and their practical application in trade.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Sound judgment in assessing risks involved in sales or procurement transactions.
  • Familiarity with and practical experience in applying the principles of

    operational excellence

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of

    12 to 15 years of experience

    in

    sales of minerals and chemicals

    , with a strong track record of leadership and business development.
