Full-time Contractual IoT Freelancer

Key Responsibilities: IoT Solution Development: Design, develop, and implement IoT systems and devices across a variety of platforms. Firmware Development: Develop firmware for embedded systems, sensors, and devices, ensuring seamless integration with cloud platforms. Cloud Integration: Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.) to integrate IoT devices and manage data flow. Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve issues related to IoT solutions, devices, and firmware in both development and production environments. Prototyping & Testing: Design prototypes, conduct rigorous testing, and optimize IoT systems for real-world applications. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive IoT solutions that meet client specifications and business needs. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation, ensure clear communication across teams, and report progress regularly. Required Skills and Experience: IoT Platforms: Hands-on experience with popular IoT platforms like AWS IoT , Microsoft Azure IoT , Google Cloud IoT , or similar. Programming Skills: Proficient in C/C++ , Python , JavaScript , and other languages used for embedded systems development. IoT Protocols: Strong understanding of communication protocols such as MQTT , CoAP , HTTP , and Bluetooth . Embedded Systems: Experience with microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino , Raspberry Pi , ESP32 , STM32 ) and embedded software development. Cloud Integration: Familiarity with IoT cloud solutions, data storage, analytics, and edge computing. Problem Solving: Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and solve issues related to hardware, firmware, and software. Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience working with IoT systems and solutions, preferably in a freelance or contract-based capacity. Desirable Skills: Experience with IoT security and data encryption best practices. Knowledge of AI/ML applications in IoT or big data analytics .
