As a Sr. Engineering Consultant within the Verizon Consumer Group CXP Ops organization, you will be a pivotal technical leader responsible for architecting and driving innovations in CXP Operations and Tier 2 Operations. Your expertise in AIOps, AIML, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, React JS, and Oracle will be instrumental in re-imagining and optimizing our order management lifecycle, from submission to billing. This role demands a visionary technologist who can design and implement solutions that ensure a best-in-class experience for our front-line employees and customers. You will champion engineering best practices, influence stakeholders, and provide expert consultation to enhance order flow-through, automate ticket triaging, and proactively address fallout patterns. Effectively communicate the vision jointly set with the Leadership team. Architecting and designing robust, scalable solutions leveraging AIOps and AIML to predict, prevent, and resolve issues within the order lifecycle, thereby ensuring optimal flow-through from submission to fulfilment, activation, and billing. Designing and guiding the development of micro-services and backend processes using Spring Boot and Spring Batch for efficient order processing, fallout correction, and automation initiatives. Conceptualizing and overseeing the development of intuitive user interfaces and dashboards using React JS for Tier 2 operations, providing actionable insights and facilitating efficient ticket management and order tracking. Ensuring optimal Oracle database design and utilization for order management systems, focusing on performance, data integrity, and scalability. Driving the strategy and implementation of AIOps to enhance monitoring, automate ticket triaging, and reduce manual intervention in Tier 2 operations. Developing and integrating AIML models for intelligent automation, predictive analysis of order fallouts, and optimization of operational workflows. Championing the development of advanced tools and automation solutions with a strong engineering focus to significantly improve the efficiency and accuracy of field and Tier 2 operations. Defining and advising on SLAs for L1 ticket triaging, designing systems to ensure no backlogs for critical applications. Acting as a subject matter expert, providing technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams on AIOps, AIML, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, React JS, and Oracle best practices. Coaching and inculcating a strong engineering and innovation mindset within project teams, fostering customer obsession and the delivery of high-quality engineering tools and enhancements. Influencing and effectively communicating the technical vision and strategy, aligning with the goals set by VCG Leadership. Where you'll be working... In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager. You'll need to have Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience. Four or more years of relevant work experience. Experience in Java, AIOps, AIML,ReactJs and Python technology stack. Four or more years of experience in Spring Boot Micro services, Spring Reactive framework, GraphQL, and Cassandra. Two or more years of experience in DevSecOps with cloud exposure. Knowledge of AWS, EKS, and ELK technology stack. Experience in leading teams, and people management. Deep knowledge of all the major flows in the consumer business. Experience in building automation tools for the engineering function needed to enable the field operations and Tier 2 operations teams. Demonstrated experience in partnering with Business and IT teams at multiple levels to drive alignment and delivery of complex problems. Two or more years of experience in UiPath or Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools. Even better if you have one or more of the following: Strong presentation skills to communicate complex concepts effectively. Ability to meet timelines, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work in a fast-paced, dynamic, customer and team-oriented work environment. Experience leading team members, coaching, and mentoring. Strong understanding of ITIL process and L2 operations support. Experience in Robotic Process Automation tool or UiPath. Industry recognition, patents & papers, participation in standards/ professional bodies.
