Senior Software Engineer - QA

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will be a lead developer responsible for the development of new software products and enhancements to existing products. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills.

Key Skills:

• Proficient in writing and executing automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools.
• Experience in using continuous integration tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Knowledge of test management tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, or similar.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and experience in API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Basic knowledge and DB concepts, CRUD operations and basic query writing
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to write well-documented and maintainable test cases.
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with cloud-based testing environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).

• Good to have hands on using Gen AI tools and AI Agents

Roles and responsibilities:

• Develop and Execute Automated Tests:

  Write and execute Selenium WebDriver scripts to automate functional and non-functional tests.

• Manage Test Environments:

  Set up and maintain test environments, ensuring they are ready for testing at all times.

• Integrate with CI/CD:

  Integrate automated tests into the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipeline to streamline the testing process.

• Track Defects:

  Use defect tracking tools to log, triage, and report defects, collaborating with development teams to resolve them efficiently.

• Ensure Compatibility:

  Test applications across various browsers and devices to ensure compatibility and address any cross-platform issues.
