Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic sales initiatives, client acquisition, and relationship management. This role requires a self-motivated professional who can work independently while collaborating closely with our founding directors to expand our market presence and achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Development

  • Conduct comprehensive cold calling campaigns to identify and engage potential clients from existing databases
  • Research and identify new business opportunities with Indian and foreign MNCs
  • Generate qualified leads through various channels including digital outreach, networking, and referrals
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent revenue growth

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Schedule and conduct client meetings to understand business requirements and present tailored solutions
  • Deliver compelling presentations on our services including Central and State subsidies, SME IPO advisory, and business consultancy
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations
  • Conduct regular follow-ups to nurture prospects and convert leads into clients

Business Development

  • Develop strategic partnerships with complementary service providers and industry stakeholders
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to expand business reach
  • Collaborate with the founding directors to develop new service offerings and market strategies

Administrative & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records of all client interactions and sales activities
  • Prepare regular sales reports, pipeline updates, and performance metrics for management review
  • Track and analyze conversion rates, deal closure timelines, and revenue forecasts
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all sales activities

Required Qualifications

Experience & Background

  • 3-5 years of proven sales and business development experience, preferably in financial services, consulting, or advisory firms
  • Demonstrated experience working with Indian and foreign multinational corporations
  • Prior exposure to government subsidy schemes, regulatory compliance, or IPO processes is highly preferred
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Hindi
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with senior executives
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, or related field
  • MBA or professional certifications in sales/marketing will be an added advantage
