Learn more about Analytics and Information Management Practice Work you will do- Yrs of Exp -5 -8Yrs An undeniable passion for DevOps using open source platforms & technologies. • Expert knowledge of DevOps practices maintained by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. • Self-motivation and an ability to contribute to rapidly evolving programs. • A strong academic record (min. Bachelor degree) with substantive experience in a DevOps role • 5+ years of experience as a System Admin / Developer /DBA. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Experience with and knowledge of tools that can help make software delivery and testing more effective. Preference for experience with the following tools: Puppet, Chef, Jira, Confluence; Stash(Git), Bamboo, Jenkins, Shell scripting, Docker,VMWare,AWS … • Perform work without significant direction. • Help transform Application Lifecycle Services solution delivery process as it evolves into a modern test-driven, continuously integrated set of micro-services. Experience in DevOps for Platform Administration & data engineering 1. Application Deployment Optimize resource allocation and monitoring in distributed environments such as AWS/Yarn. 2. CI/CD Pipeline Development Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows using Jenkins. Automate deployment processes through Ansible playbooks. Manage versioning and schema evolution for Kafka topics with schema registries. 3. Streaming Infrastructure Management Configure and monitor Kafka brokers, topics, and consumers for streaming workloads. Work with Hadoop ecosystem components like Yarn, Oozie, and Airflow to manage workflows. Implement robust logging, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms for real-time applications. 4. Platform Integration Ensure smooth integration between various platform services to enable end-to-end workflows. 5. Release and Deployment Management Oversee software deployment cycles, from development to production environments. Implement and manage release management practices to ensure smooth upgrades and rollbacks. Collaborate with developers and QA teams to ensure seamless releases. 6. Automation and OptimizationWrite reusable automation scripts to streamline infrastructure management and deployments. Optimize CI/CD workflows to improve deployment speed and reduce errors.
