OutSystems Developer

• Overall, 4 years of experience.
• At least 2 to 4 years of experience as OutSystems Developer.
• Proficiency with OutSystems Service Studio & Integration Studio.
• Effective OutSystems development experience for Web and/or Mobile.
• Good knowledge of Database DDL, DML Queries, optimizing those queries keeping performance in mind.
• Good experience in working with APIs that are integrated with OutSystems
• A keen interest in related technologies such as DBMSs, Application Servers, JS Frameworks and APIs that may be integrated with OutSystems
• Proficiency in the base web technologies of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery
• OutSystems Associate or Professional Certification level
• Develop enterprise-grade applications using the OutSystems platform, employing OutSystems Canvas Architecture, touching all layers from data modelling and integrations to business logic and UI
• Ownership of overall delivery quality.
• Web application development, process design, and project delivery practices.
• Professional experience in Database (MySQL, SQL Server and / or Oracle)
• Knowledge or professional experience of Java and / or .NET.
• Knowledge or professional experience of Frontend (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Knowledge or professional experience developing Mobile Apps with OutSystems.
• Certification in OutSystems.
• The candidate must be well organized, adhere to timelines, accurate and have the passion to deliver technical excellence.
• Experience working in large enterprises.
• Excellent Knowledge of OutSystems Best Practice
• Experience and comfort with Scrum methodologies

Duties to be performed

• Designing and building prototypes to demonstrate your ideas.
• Assist team in handling ongoing tasks as required. Resolve functional, and execution-related issues
• Communicate with client representatives, performing demos, providing status updates and walkthroughs of technical issues.
• Monitor task status/progress /conducts reviews with the developers
• Ensures adherence to the technical solution and best practices specific to the technology
• Mentor new joiners and developer/senior developers on technology related aspects
• Coordinate with offshore / onsite teams. Peer review artifacts
• Adhere to, and facilitate the project plan
• Provide team leadership and ownership of assigned software elements
• Documentation of high level and low level designs
• Analyses and understands the functional specifications /requirements
• Estimates the effort involved
• Design and document the system technical specifications
• Develop and maintains code
• Unit test the code and report results
• Perform and participate in peer code reviews, provide solutions to coding issues/defects
• Follow established coding standards for the technology/platform to provide efficient and maintainable code
• Support systems testing and code correction as necessary
• Ensure that all processes are followed specific to the role / project
