Oracle Technical Consultant

Job Overview: An Oracle Fusion Technical Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions using Oracle Fusion applications. This role requires a deep understanding of Oracle Fusion architecture and the ability to customize and extend applications to meet business requirements. The developer works closely with functional teams, business analysts, and end-users to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance business processes. Key Responsibilities: 1.Technical Design and Development: Technical experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP Financials , SCM, Maintenance and Manufacturing products Develop custom solutions and extensions within Oracle Fusion applications using Oracle Application Framework (OAF), ADF, and other relevant technologies. Create and manage technical specifications, design documents, and development plans. Implement and maintain integrations between Oracle Fusion applications and other enterprise systems using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and web services. 2.Customization and Configuration: Customize Oracle Fusion applications to meet specific business needs while adhering to best practices and standards. Configure and manage Oracle Fusion modules such as Financials, Maintenance, SCM, etc., based on business requirements. 3.Data Management and Reporting: Develop and maintain data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using Oracle Data Integration tools. Create and optimize reports and dashboards using Oracle BI Publisher and Oracle Analytics Cloud. 4.System Support and Maintenance: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Oracle Fusion applications, identifying and resolving issues promptly. Perform regular system maintenance tasks, including patching, upgrades, and performance tuning. 5.Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with functional teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Communicate effectively with project teams and management, providing updates on progress, challenges, and solutions. 6.Quality Assurance and Testing: Conduct unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards. Implement and maintain automated testing scripts to improve testing efficiency and accuracy. 7.Documentation and Training: Document technical processes, configurations, and solutions for future reference and knowledge sharing. Provide training and support to end-users and technical teams on Oracle Fusion applications and custom solutions. Qualifications & Required skills: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as an Oracle Fusion Technical Developer or similar role. Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion architecture and technologies, including OAF, ADF, OIC, and web services. Experience designing and developing integrations in OIC to Oracle ERP Cloud including making REST and SOAP calls, FBDI File Uploads, and extracting ERP Cloud data using BIP reports. Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Java, XML, JDeveloper, Oracle BI Publisher, APEX, Visual Builder Cloud Service, OIC, Groovy Scripting, FBDI, ADFDi. Experience with Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle Analytics Cloud, and other reporting tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills: Oracle Fusion certification(s). Experience with agile development methodologies. Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and related cloud services. Qualities or Attributes: Proactive - take the initiative to resolve issues & identifying discrepancies.
