Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Azure Administrator with 7+ years of hands-on experience managing and optimising enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure. This role demands deep knowledge of Azure IaaS/PaaS services, automation, governance, hybrid infrastructure, and security compliance. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining the performance, reliability, and security of mission-critical applications and services hosted on Microsoft Azure.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Azure Infrastructure Management
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable Azure infrastructure across multiple subscriptions and tenants.
- Manage and administer Azure Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Load Balancers, Application Gateways, and Azure Networking (VNet, Subnets, NSGs, ASGs).
- Configure and monitor services such as Azure DNS, Azure Bastion, Azure Firewall, and Network Watcher.
- Plan and manage Azure hybrid configurations – ExpressRoute, VPN Gateways, AD DS & AD Connect.
- Supporting Cloud NGFW (Palo Alto Firewalls) management & operations & working with the Vendor Team as per requirements.
2. Identity & Access Management
- Manage Azure Active Directory (AD), Conditional Access Policies, MFA, and Identity Governance.
- Integrate Azure AD with on-premises AD for hybrid identity solutions using AD Connect and ADFS.
- Enforce Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Just-In-Time (JIT) access.
3. Automation & DevOps Integration (Good to Have, not mandatory)
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform, and Azure Blueprints.
- Automate routine tasks and deployments using PowerShell, Azure CLI, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps Pipelines.
- Implement Azure Automation Runbooks for service health, alerts, and remediation.
4. Monitoring, Optimisation & Governance
- Configure and maintain Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and Diagnostics.
- Day-to-day user IT issues, Remote support, and Office 365 management
- Implement Cost Management and Budgets, tagging strategies, and resource consistency with Azure Policy and Management Groups.
- Perform capacity planning, cost optimization, and forecasting for cloud infrastructure.
- Work on General Day-To-Day IT Infrastructure activities & support the same.
- Should have working knowledge of networks, servers, and Azure cloud.
- Good to have some familiarity & knowledge about Cisco Meraki devices & Cisco Meraki.
- Should have some knowledge about Jira Incident Management & IT Ticketing tools.
- Should have some knowledge about the Automox Patch Management tools.
- Some familiarity with Cisco Thousand Eyes monitoring tools is required.
5. Backup, DR & Compliance
- Deploy and manage Azure Backup, Site Recovery (ASR), and geo-redundant recovery strategies.
- Conducted DR drills and compliance audits, and ensured alignment with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and customer-specific regulatory frameworks.
- Manage data residency, encryption at rest/in transit, and Key Vault integration for secure data handling.
6. Operations & Incident Response
- Manage escalated incidents, analyse root cause, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain system documentation, SOPs, change management logs, and architecture diagrams.
- Consult with Microsoft Premier Support when necessary to resolve the issue.
- Collaborate with the vendor team on any IT-relevant issues whenever necessary for support.
- Working with the local IT Team for day-to-day regular IT Support and relevant activities.
Required Technical Skills:
- Deep experience with Microsoft Azure IaaS, PaaS, networking components, Azure Administration, Azure VDI, Backups/Storage.
- Expert in Azure AD, RBAC, VNet Peering, NSGs, ASGs, Azure Firewall, and routing.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, Azure CLI, and Infrastructure-as-Code (ARM, Terraform, Bicep)
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics
- Strong understanding of hybrid AD environments, identity federation, and SSO
- Good knowledge of Windows Server, DNS, DHCP, and GPO administration
- Experience with backup & disaster recovery planning using Azure-native tools
Desirable Certifications: Good to Have (Not Mandatory). Preference can be given to Azure/CCNA/CompTIA Network Certified candidates or candidates trained in Azure/Cisco Professional Courses from Globally Recognised Online IT Platforms like Udemy/Coursera/Alison, or any ISO Certified & Recognised training institutions relevant to the same, with proper valid training and course completion certificates.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, any Engineering preferred (BS/B. Tech similar), candidates from other streams also applicable with valid experience in IT/System Admin/System Engineer Roles & any IT Certifications as applicable.
- A master’s degree or equivalent advanced certification is a plus.

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,600,000.00 per year
