Job Description

Job Purpose

To ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the Human Resources department by managing recruitment, onboarding, retention, development, compliance, and communication strategies, thereby aligning HR policies with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive job descriptions for all roles.
  • Post job openings on relevant platforms and social media.
  • Screen resumes and shortlist candidates based on job requirements.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings and in-person interviews.
  • Perform reference checks and background verifications.
  • Extend job offers and ensure timely communication with all candidates.

2. Employee Onboarding

  • Design and implement an effective onboarding process.
  • Conduct orientation programs to familiarize employees with company culture and policies.
  • Facilitate training sessions on job responsibilities and expectations.
  • Assign mentors or buddies to help new employees integrate seamlessly.
  • Ensure the collection and verification of all necessary documentation.

3. Employee Retention & Engagement

  • Foster a positive work culture to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute recognition and reward programs.
  • Conduct periodic employee satisfaction surveys and analyze feedback for improvements.
  • Offer growth opportunities through training, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Conduct exit interviews to understand turnover trends and improve retention strategies.

4. Learning & Development

  • Assess training and development needs across the organization.
  • Design and execute training programs aligned with company objectives and employee goals.
  • Encourage participation in workshops, conferences, and other professional development activities.
  • Promote cross-training, job shadowing, and mentoring opportunities.
  • Provide consistent coaching and feedback to support employee growth.

5. Compliance & Policies

  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and updated employee records.
  • Conduct regular internal audits for adherence to policies.
  • Train employees and managers on company policies and legal requirements.
  • Address and resolve employee concerns or complaints promptly.

6. Communication

  • Develop and implement internal communication strategies for transparency and engagement.
  • Foster an open-door policy to encourage employee suggestions and feedback.
  • Utilize various channels to keep employees informed of updates, policies, and events.
  • Ensure regular performance feedback sessions for employees.

7. Performance Management

  • Define clear performance objectives for employees.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews to identify areas of improvement and provide constructive feedback.
  • Address performance issues fairly and create improvement plans when necessary.
  • Implement performance metrics to track progress and make data-driven decisions.
  • Recognize and reward high performers through structured incentives and promotions.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR management, preferably in [specific industry].
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
