About You

What are your deliverables?

• Design, develop, and optimise cloud-native AWS infrastructure with cost-efficiency and security in mind.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Automate CI/CD pipelines to support seamless integration, delivery, and testing (e.g., GoCD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Proactively monitor infrastructure and application performance using tools like Datadog and CloudWatch.
• Implement and maintain robust logging, alerting, and monitoring systems to support high availability.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure production readiness and improve the developer experience.
• Conduct root cause analyses and post-mortems, implementing preventive improvements.
• Continuously assess infrastructure scalability and drive cost-optimisation strategies.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and propose relevant tools and processes.
  

Requirements

Essential:

• Minimum 2-4 years of DevOps experience, including hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Strong skills in Linux system administration, Build & Release Engineering, and automation scripting (Python or Bash).
• Proven expertise in AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, ELB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS.
• Experience with serverless frameworks and AWS Lambda.
• Proficiency in tools like Terraform (preferred), CloudFormation, GoCD, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, container orchestration, and infrastructure monitoring.
• Familiarity with web/network fundamentals (DNS, HTTPS, NGINX, Apache).
• Solid version control practices using Git.
