Summary of Position: substantial / major Tasks: The Specialist CoE IT Infrastructure Active Directory & PKI is a crucial role ensuring the specific IT area operates efficiently by providing expert information technology support. His/her responsibilities include implementing hardware and software solutions, enhancing IT systems, and resolving technical issues (depended on the IT domain). Furthermore, the Specialist enhances strategies and operations and supports in developing, integrating, and maximizing the value of IT systems in his/her specific area, thus contributing to a smooth functioning of the specific area. This includes providing strategic advice, troubleshooting of operational issues, and offering expertise in the specific area as well as implementing principles, structures, processes, decision models, etc.. Major Tasks / Activities (What the position does) Expected Outcome (Why is it done) Engage with key users to understand business needs, challenges, and goals. Support in developing (technology) solutions on domain level aligned with organizational objectives. Defined, aligned, and communicated domain level strategy, roadmap, and processes. Define domain related processes and policies including complementary documentation. Ensure a global understanding of the domain processes and policies. Support and consult in IT projects as well as lead domain initiatives including ensuring successful execution from planning to completion. Ensure successful coordination and execution of domain specific projects and initiatives. Customize existing systems to meet specific user requirements (domain specific). Evaluate and recommend new processes/technologies for efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure system design & optimization. Provide (technical) assistance to key users. Conduct training sessions on processes and potential software and hardware usage for domain specific topics. Provide user support and training, thus ensuring information flow on domain specific topics for all relevant stakeholders. Analyse complex issues and propose effective solutions. Produce reports to guide decision-making. Problem solving and reporting. Handle Incidents and Service requests related to Active Directory and PKI as per SLA and agreed timelines. Resolve related incidents on time and maintain uptime. Active Directory and Azure AD (Entra ID) update & maintenance including Account review and cleanup. Proactive check for improvements. Stable and clean Active Directory and Azure AD (Entra ID) according to state-of-the-art solutions. Public Key Infrastructure (internal & external) Certificate Management Resolve related PKI Requests and incidents on time. Knowledge, Experience and Skill / Competency and Responsibility Requirements Type of required functional knowledge (depth, breadth): Experience working in international environments Expert knowledge and practical experience in CoE IT Infrastructure Active Directory & PKI (including processes, e.g. ITIL, ServiceNow incident process) Good knowledge in networking, cloud computing, databases, operating systems, and software development. Furthermore, expert knowledge in Active Directory. Expert knowledge in Private Key Infrastructure and Certificate Management High solution orientation and technical understanding Excellent conceptual and analytical skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Awareness of IT Security principles as well as knowledge of data protection regulations and compliance standards relevant to the organization. Deep knowledge of AD, Azure AD, DNS, LDAPs Troubleshooting & Implementation skills on various IT Infrastructure environment. Type and length of experience required for the position: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, automation, industrial engineering, or comparable degree or equivalent at least 3 years professional domain experience Further skills and competencies required: Very good spoken and written languages skills (EN, assignment country language is a benefit) Intercultural competences due to international cooperation Team player Further Responsibilities Show more Show less
