Job Title : Teamcenter DevOps Engineer Experience : 5+ Years Experience Location : Pune Employment Type : Full-Time Experience Level : Mid to Senior (5+ Years) Department : Engineering / IT / PLM Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Teamcenter DevOps Engineer to join our PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Teamcenter deployment, automation, and CI/CD pipeline management. You will work closely with development, IT infrastructure, and support teams to maintain and optimize our PLM environment for performance, scalability, and reliability. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for Teamcenter environments. Automate deployment processes, upgrades, and configuration using tools like Jenkins, Ansible, or Shell/Python scripts. Administer and support Siemens Teamcenter (preferably 11.x/12.x/13.x or newer). Perform installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting of Teamcenter and related components (TC Server, RAC, BMIDE, FMS, Dispatcher, etc.). Collaborate with PLM developers and system administrators to ensure smooth environment integration and performance. Monitor system health and performance; proactively resolve issues or escalate when necessary. Manage source control using Git, SVN, or equivalent tools. Develop and maintain documentation for environment configuration, deployment strategies, and operational procedures. Support data migration, backup, and disaster recovery planning related to PLM systems. Contribute to the development of automated test environments and support agile/DevOps culture in the PLM domain. Required Skills And Qualifications 5+ years of experience with Teamcenter PLM in DevOps, Systems Engineering, or Administration roles. Strong experience in Teamcenter deployment, BMIDE, FMS, and configuration management. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Bash, Python, or Perl. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bamboo, etc. Experience with Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, or other infrastructure automation tools. Knowledge of Linux and Windows server environments. Familiarity with Oracle or SQL Server databases. Solid understanding of Agile and DevOps practices. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. (ref:hirist.tech)
