Your Role as Tech Lead,

You’ll be Wibhoo’s first full-stack tech brain, shaping our WordPress-Dokan based ecosystem and adding layers of customization for GPS logic, dynamic impact metrics, and vendor dashboards. You’ll work directly with the founder and storytelling team to experiment, build, break, fix, and evolve features in line with our impact goals.

Responsibilities:

• Own and evolve the tech backend (WordPress + WooCommerce + Dokan stack)
• Customize location-based recommendation flows
• Collaborate on product thinking, UI/UX tweaks, and feature rollouts
• Help streamline backend systems (orders, vendor dashboards, shipping logic)
• Integrate third-party APIs (e.g., sustainability metrics, analytics)
• Build automation where needed (we’re lean, every minute counts)

Core Technical Skills

• Advanced WordPress Development: Experience with child themes, custom post types, functions.php, and theme customization beyond drag-and-drop.
• WooCommerce + Dokan Customization: Ability to customize multivendor workflows, vendor dashboards, and conditional checkout/shipping logic.
• PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript​: Solid grounding in these to edit core files, override templates, and write custom functions/snippets.
• MySQL / Database Debugging: Understanding of WordPress DB structure, writing custom queries if needed, and preventing performance bottlenecks.
• REST API Integration: For integrating external systems like Cool The Globe (carbon metrics), logistics APIs, or payment/webhook services.

Creative Problem-Solving (Jugadu Skills)

• Knows how to make limited plugins do smart things
• Comfortable tweaking code snippets from StackOverflow, GitHub, or forums
• Can build quick MVP features using low-code/no-code + manual workflows when needed

Platform Thinking & Optimization

• UI/UX Familiarity: Has an eye for usability and can suggest layout or user flow improvements
• Performance Tuning: Knows caching, lazy loading, and NitroPack-style optimizations to improve speed
• Plugin Governance: Can evaluate plugin bloat vs utility and knows how to minimize dependencies

Bonus Skills (Nice-to-Have but Gold)

• Experience with Geo-location based logic (map filtering, location tagging)
• Familiarity with shipping logic customization (zone-based pricing, weight rules)
• Understanding of security best practices (preventing SQL injection, brute-force hardening)

• Monthly stipend: ₹15,000 (during early phase first 6 months)
