We are currently seeking a Technical Sales Head to drive strategic growth, forge key industry partnerships, and help us shape the next generation of energy solutions.

Technical Sales Head


Key Responsibilities:


Sales Leadership & Execution

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Business Development Executives (BDEs) to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Drive consistent business growth by setting and executing clear sales plans aligned with company goals
  • Actively support the team in high-value deal closures and negotiations, especially in technical or strategic opportunities


CRM Management & Data Hygiene

  • Ensure all client interactions, follow-ups, and deal progress are accurately and consistently documented in the CRM system
  • Monitor and audit CRM usage by the sales team to maintain up-to-date and actionable sales data
  • Use CRM analytics to track pipeline performance, identify gaps, and forecast revenue


Follow-Up Discipline & Conversion

  • Establish a follow-up cadence for all stages of the sales funnel to maximize lead engagement and conversion rates
  • Drive a culture of accountability and persistence within the team for timely follow-ups and proactive communication with prospects


Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Support BDEs in managing long-term client relationships and resolving issues or escalations
  • Represent the company in critical client meetings and presentations to reinforce technical and strategic value
  • Attend all technical meetings alongside the technical team to ensure the customer’s technical requirements are clearly understood, accurately communicated, and fully met.
  • Build trust with enterprise clients by demonstrating deep domain knowledge and solution-oriented thinking


Process Optimization & Reporting

  • Identify inefficiencies in sales processes and introduce improvements for speed and scalability
  • Compile and present daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports, pipeline status, and conversion metrics to leadership
  • Leverage data insights and client feedback to improve outreach strategy and team effectiveness


Training & Performance Management

  • Conduct regular sales training sessions to improve team capabilities in CRM usage, product knowledge, and objection handling
  • Review individual performance metrics, provide coaching, and set development plans for underperformers
  • Foster a result-driven, accountable, and collaborative sales culture within the team


Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in technical sales or business development, with at least 3 years in a team leadership or sales management role
  • Proven track record in driving B2B sales growth and successfully closing high-value deals in long and complex buying cycles (typically 6–12 months)
  • Hands-on experience managing and mentoring sales teams, with a strong focus on performance and results
  • Proficiency in CRM tools such as

    HubSpot

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel for client meetings, site visits, and industry events as required


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA is a plus)
  • Experience working in a high-growth startup or energy-focused technology firm
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
