We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Microservices Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Object-Oriented concepts, Design Patterns, and architectural principles, with strong exposure to Domain-Driven Design, event-based architectures, and microservices best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and resilient microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Lead the integration of microservices with various GCP services including Cloud Key Management Service, Bigtable, Spanner, Cloud Storage, Cloud Composer, Cloud Run, and others.
• Architect and build robust interfaces and REST APIs for seamless integration with external systems and GCP platform.
• Implement event sourcing architectures and develop JMS-based applications leveraging Kafka, Redis, IBM MQ, or Solace.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design solutions adhering to SOA and microservices principles.
• Create and execute API testing strategies using industry-standard tools.
• Drive automation within the Agile development process, enhance testing lifecycle practices, and promote best implementation practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 10+ years of hands-on development experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Business Process Orchestration tools such as Camunda or Flowable.
• Extensive experience with microservices architecture, Domain-Driven Design, event-driven design, and design patterns.
• Profound knowledge of GCP platform services, including Cloud Storage, Cloud Composer, Cloud Run, Cloud Key Management, Bigtable, and Spanner.
• Strong background in event sourcing, message queuing, and distributed systems (Kafka, Redis, IBM MQ, Solace).
• Proven expertise in building and integrating REST APIs, and working with data formats like JSON and Protocol Buffers.
• Good understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC) and experience with agile methodologies, including in-sprint automation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in Capital Markets or Financial Services domain.
• Familiarity with OpenShift and GKE container orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar.
