Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and driven Software Development Engineer to join our team. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js). In addition to core technical skills, we are looking for professionals who actively leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate development, improve code quality, and optimize performance.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
• Implement efficient algorithms and data structures to enhance application performance and scalability.
• Write clean, reusable, and testable code following modern JavaScript/TypeScript standards.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain code quality, readability, and adherence to best practices.
• Optimize application performance through profiling, code refactoring, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with database administrators to design and optimize database schemas and queries.
• Ensure the security and integrity of web applications by incorporating appropriate security measures and best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in web development, AI tools, and automation.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, assisting them in their professional growth.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to identify and resolve any bugs or issues in a timely manner.
• Integrate with external services and APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
• Develop APIs using RestAPI principles and GraphQL to enhance data retrieval and manipulation capabilities.
• Implement caching using Redis for improved application performance.

Qualifications and Skills required:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of core computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, operating systems, databases, and computer networks.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, and modern React (Hooks, Context API or Redux).
• Experience using AI development tools for code assistance, optimization, and test automation.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with database systems (e.g., MySQL, MS SQL, MongoDB) and query optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with AI-based tools for coding, testing, or productivity (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Self-driven with the ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
