Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and performance-driven Senior SEO Specialist with 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing SEO strategies to improve search engine visibility, organic traffic, and keyword rankings for our website(s). You will work closely with the content, design, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are followed across all digital touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitor analysis, and search trend evaluation
• Optimize on-page elements, including meta tags, headers, content, internal linking, and images
• Perform regular technical SEO audits and collaborate with developers to resolve crawl errors, improve page speed, and fix indexing issues
• Collaborate with the content team to guide SEO-friendly content creation and identify new content opportunities
• Monitor website performance using tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), and SEO software
• Execute link-building activities through outreach, guest posting, and digital PR opportunities
• Track keyword rankings, backlinks, and organic performance; provide regular reporting with actionable insights
• Stay updated on Google algorithm updates and search engine changes; adapt strategies accordingly
• Maintain and enhance local SEO listings and schema markup where relevant

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5 to 7 years of hands-on SEO experience, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
• Proven success in improving organic traffic, keyword rankings, and website performance metrics
• Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and current SEO trends
• Proficient in SEO tools such as: Google Search Console, Google Analytics (preferably GA4), SEMrush / Ahrefs / Moz, Screaming Frog / Sitebulb, Google Keyword Planner
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript as related to SEO
• Experience with CMS platforms, including WordPress, Shopify, or Webflow
• Strong analytical capabilities and experience interpreting SEO and web analytics data
• Solid understanding of mobile-first indexing, Core Web Vitals, and structured data
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration across teams
