Role Overview:

System Analyst – Python Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of scalable, robust, and secure backend systems using Python and microservices architecture.
• Develop RESTful APIs using frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Debug and optimize performance, ensuring application scalability and reliability.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Mentor and manage a team of developers, providing guidance on technical challenges and risks.
• Ensure the use of best practices in version control (Git, GitHub, SVN).
• Write and maintain automated unit and integration tests using tools like pytest and pyunit.

Technical Qualifications:

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in Python development with expertise in microservices architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience with one or more Python web frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI).
• Good understanding of Git, GitHub, and SVN for version control.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Docker and GKE is a plus.
• Experience with third-party tools such as Apache Airflow, Elasticsearch is desirable.
• Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) – AppEngine, Firestore, BigQuery, and SQL databases is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of OOP, Data Structures, Algorithms, Multi-threading, and Parallel Processing.
• Proficient in working with both SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, BigQuery) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Datastore) databases.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Academic qualifications with a minimum of:
• 60% or above in any two of the following: Secondary, Higher Secondary, or Graduation.
• 55% or above in the third.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
