Senior Software Engineer (MERN) - On Contract for 6-12 Months

What will you do?

• Design and develop high-performance, scalable, and secure web applications using React 18+ (Primary Focus) for the front-end and NestJS 8+ and Node.js 18+ for the back-end.
• Architect, build, and maintain reusable components and front-end libraries that support complex applications.
• Implement and manage APIs, using RESTful services
• Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, product managers, and DevOps engineers.
• Ensure best practices in code quality, security, and maintainability through code reviews and testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in both front-end and back-end layers.
  

Requirements

What do you bring to the table?

• Front-End (Primary Focus):
• Strong proficiency in React 18+, , React Hooks, and functional components.
• Experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Strong understanding of front-end performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with Selenium and Karate for automated testing.
• Back-End:
• Proficiency in NestJS 8+ and Node.js 18+.
• Experience with building RESTful APIs endpoints.
• Knowledge of database management systems (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  

• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
• Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR) and Next.js
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker
