Senior Analyst, SCM Business Intelligence
Summary
The Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Reporting and Process will lead efforts in collecting, analyzing, and reporting supply chain metrics to enhance process efficiency and operational performance within the Supply Chain Center of Excellence (COE). This role involves collaborating with global cross-functional teams (Sourcing, Engineering, Quality) to capture process requirements, deliver actionable insights, and drive supply chain excellence. The candidate will also manage projects, oversee process optimization initiatives, and ensure robust reporting governance.
Responsibilities
- Supply Chain Reporting and Process Governance
- Lead the development and maintenance of Excel-based reports and dashboards to track critical supply chain metrics (e.g., inventory levels, supplier performance, logistics costs, demand forecasting accuracy).
- Analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvements, providing actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all supply chain reports and processes, documenting logic, assumptions, and methodologies.
- Identify and implement process automation opportunities using continuous improvement techniques to drive efficiency and scalability.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across supply chain systems and digital platforms, supporting seamless reporting and process execution.
- Leverage Power BI (if applicable) to enhance visibility into supply chain performance metrics.
- Project management
- Lead supply chain projects and initiatives for one or more business units, driving process execution, portfolio management, and performance tracking.
- Provide regular updates to category managers and leadership on project milestones, process improvements, and key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with global Carrier sites, cross-functional teams (Sourcing, Engineering, Quality), and suppliers to align on process requirements and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
Required Skills And Experience
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited institution in supply chain, business, or a related field.
- Experience: 4-9 years in supply chain management and into process optimization, or project management. Experience in a global role is mandatory.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, macros, data modeling) for supply chain reporting and analysis.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) preferred.
- Knowledge of Power BI is a plus but not mandatory.
Soft Skills:- Strong analytical skills to break down complex supply chain datasets into meaningful insights.
- Keen attention to detail and observational skills to identify process inefficiencies and articulate findings accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement across global teams.
- Ability to lead and collaborate in a global, cross-functional environment with high learning agility and accountability.
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to work directly with global teams, align objectives, and communicate insights in a clear, business-oriented manner.
