Senior Accountant

Job Title: Senior Accountant Location: ROI Magnet, Baner ( Pune ) Department: Finance & Accounts Reporting To: Founder & CEO Employment Type: Full-Time Own Laptop- Mandatory About ROI Magnet: ROI Magnet is a leading performance marketing agency that empowers D2C brands to scale and grow revenue through data-driven marketing strategies. As we expand our operations, we are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our finance team and manage core accounting and invoicing responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales Invoicing • Generate accurate and timely sales invoices based on approved sales orders, delivery notes, and contracts. • Coordinate with sales and operations teams to ensure complete and accurate documentation for invoicing. • Monitor customer billing cycles and proactively follow up on pending payments. • Ensure compliance with GST and applicable tax regulations on all invoices. • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve invoicing or payment discrepancies. 2. MIS & Reporting • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports related to revenue, receivables, and overall financial performance. • Analyze sales trends and variance reports for actionable insights. • Design and deliver customized reports and dashboards based on management requirements. • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities. 3. General Accounting • Maintain accurate general ledger entries related to sales, accounts receivable, and adjustments. • Ensure timely execution of month-end and year-end closing processes. • Support statutory, internal, and external audits by providing relevant financial records and reconciliations. • Ensure adherence to accounting standards, internal policies, and tax compliance norms. 4. Statutory Compliance • Coordinate with the company’s Chartered Accountant for timely payment and filing of: • GST (Monthly & Quarterly) • TDS • Professional Tax (PT) • Provident Fund (PF) • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all filings and payments. Qualifications & Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field (CA Inter preferred but not mandatory). • 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a digital marketing or service-based organization. • Proficient in Tally, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software. • Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance. • Proficient in MS Excel and reporting tools for financial analysis. • Attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
