Position Overview

SDET – II

You’ll work closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams to define testing strategies, build automation pipelines, and uphold best practices in quality assurance. If you’re passionate about test automation, love breaking things (to make them better), and want to contribute to tech that impacts millions—this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and test suites
• Write and execute comprehensive test plans and cases for frontend, backend, and API layers
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests
• Investigate test failures, identify root causes, and verify fixes
• Develop tools and utilities to improve the testing process
• Promote test-driven development (TDD), behavior-driven development (BDD), and shift-left testing practices
• Ensure proper documentation of test plans, cases, and automation scripts

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an SDET or QA Automation Engineer
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or Karate
• Familiarity with CI/CD systems like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
• Exposure to performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust) is a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities in a fast-paced environment
