We are now looking for a seasoned professional to lead our Resource Management Group (RMG) and play a critical role in enabling our growth through strategic talent deployment and development. Role Overview The Head of RMG will be responsible for overseeing resource planning, utilization, and workforce development across the organization. This strategic role will ensure optimal alignment of talent with business needs, drive cross-skilling initiatives, and support the talent acquisition team in meeting evolving capability demands. Key Responsibilities Resource Planning & Deployment Lead the demand-supply forecasting and resource allocation across projects. Work closely with Delivery and Sales teams to understand project pipeline and align talent accordingly. Maximize resource utilization while minimizing bench time. Talent Development & Upskilling Drive technical cross-training, upskilling, and competency-building programs. Build and maintain a dynamic competency matrix for all delivery teams. Partner with L&D and technical leads to prepare the workforce for emerging technologies and domains. Business Growth Enablement Support business scalability by planning capacity and capabilities in line with strategic goals. Provide talent visibility and availability insights to senior management for informed decision-making. TA Strategy & Vendor Management Collaborate with Talent Acquisition teams to align sourcing with forecasted demand. Mentor TA teams on skill-based hiring, workforce planning, and selection strategies. Drive vendor partnerships and evaluate staffing partners for scalability and quality. Process, Tools & Reporting Implement systems to track resource skills, project deployment, and utilization metrics. Create and publish dashboards for leadership on resource health, skill coverage, and upcoming needs. Introduce best practices for IJP, lateral movement, onboarding, and bench deployment. Required Qualifications & Experience 10–15 years of experience in resource management, delivery operations, or workforce planning in an IT services setup. Proven experience in handling RMG responsibilities in a mid-sized company (1000+ employees). Strong grasp of IT technology stacks, project lifecycle, and skill management. Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and communication skills. Exposure to mentoring TA teams and managing vendor relationships. Preferred Skills Data-driven approach to workforce management and decision-making. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
