Job Description

Job Objective


  • Lead Security Automation O&M (Group) will focus on operating and evolving security capabilities around the organisation. Security is central to organisation’s operations and require deep cross functional collaboration between various businesses. The Lead Security Automation O&M will be part of the Adani Security Automation Team focused on delivering innovative and secure implementations.Adani Group is looking for an innovative security expert who can solve

    complex security problems

  • Drive

    periodic health checks and maintenance activities

    to continuously monitor operations and performance of the systems and applications and

    ensure systems operate with minimum downtime

    , by maintaining optimized levels of spares inventory.
  • Maintain and upgrade application assets to match the OS / AV requirement or upgrades from application OEM.


Roles and Responsibilities


Strategy Planning

  • Provide strategic inputs from the automation operations domain, to be incorporated into the Group strategy aligned with the policy, vision, and mission.

  • Understand the

    Modern technology requirements

    of the sites and businesses and partner with the team to

    operate and maintain automation and technology initiatives across the organization.

  • Support the automation projects team in designing and synchronizing

    the integration of new projects with legacy infrastructure and enable process enhancement

    .
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in Security technology, applications systems, and equipmen

    t; Recommend improvements and upgrade to systems basis evaluation of the operating performance.
  • Participate in

    budget finalisation for technology and automation operations and maintenance across the group

    .
  • Conduct and participate in sessions for team members to upgrade skills on the relevant subjects as required per industry standards.
  • Plug the gaps identified through diagnostic tests.
  • Track obsolescence of existing systems and coordinate timely tech-upgrade in sync with BU/Project team.


Systems Maintenance

  • Monitor periodic health checks on the systems, applications and equipment, to identify inconsistencies & inefficiencies and undertake corrective actions to ensure efficient functioning.
  • Institutionalize technology service desk to

    track, investigate & resolve problems

    ;

    Make operational modifications and upgrades to the security technology and systems based on RCA.

  • Provide support and guidance to stakeholders via technology help desk.
  • Design SOPs and policy matrix for management and resolution of system issues

    ; Guide the team to resolve issues within the designated TAT.
  • Corrective and Preventive maintenance

    of the systems to be audited periodically.
  • Understand the business requirements and criticality to define SLA for operations and maintenance.

Systems Operations

  • Support in Designing policies and SOPs for operating the varied systems, technology, and applications;

    Train Group teams

    on

    adherence to data protection regulations

    and operations of infrastructure.
  • Devise performance dashboards for evaluating operating performance and security of the systems.
  • Conduct

    periodic reviews on hardware status, software licenses, future readiness, and upgradation.

  • Work with Group teams to develop and manage the backlog of necessary planning and automation requests related to security.


Partner Management

  • Coordinate with the Site Security team and Technology team to manage the operational interactions and performance assessment of the empanelled partner on basis of the guidelines/SOP.
  • Cultivate strategic and operational relationships with partners on future growth and expectations.
  • Conduct audits for Automation systems installed at sites.
  • Define the SLA for partner association

    with Adani including the debiting clause and business criticality/requirement.
  • Support in resolving the employees query on the ID card related issues.


Performance Review

  • Define the performance metrics for evaluating the operations and maintenance activities of the Security systems and technology and finalize with the Group Automation Head; Lead the performance review.
  • Participate in the

    performance review of the function

    .

Process Excellence

  • Identify process gaps in the automation & technology operations and maintenance; lead process excellence initiatives to address the process gaps and drive efficiency. Continuously improve process by lessons learnt from previous Operations and Maintenance activities.

Drive the team to champion process improvements and establish ownership of action plans at appropriate points within the team.


People Management

  • Drive a

    collaborative and a high-performance driven culture in the team

    , with clear goal setting,

    performance review

    , and feedback mechanisms; Finalize the performance ratings for the team
  • Demonstrate capability development initiatives

    and talent management programs for the team,

    Coach and mentor critical talent

  • Be a self-starter, a

    quick learner of new technologies

    and have experience in security automation and integration.
  • Be

    hands-on and a critical part of the team

    for a high-performance security automation framework development, evangelism, and maintenance.


Job Profile


Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management / Instrumentation/ Engineering or relevant field
  • Desirable - Postgraduate degree in relevant field.
  • Preferable to have Certifications including

    Certified Protection Professional (CPP)

    / Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE) / Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) certification/ Physical Security Professional (PSP) /

    Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)/ Industrial Security professional certifications

Experiences

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in the field of Systems Operations and Maintenance and at least 5 years of experience in a team leading role in a similar position for mid-sized / large organization
  • Hands-on experience with operating and maintaining large scale systems operations across geographies and diverse businesses

  • Experience in developing SOPs (with policies and matrices) for Systems Management
  • Exposure to technology and automation strategies and

    medium/ large-scale automation projects

  • Familiarity with end-to-end security operations including

    Access Control, Traffic Management, Patrolling & Surveillance, Control Room Operations

  • Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with all levels of management; Experience of managing

    complex stakeholder interactions and leading discussions with top management.

  • Preferable to have worked in an

    organization with diversified business

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with ability to quickly digest any issue/problem encountered and recommend an appropriate solution
